We've lugged budgies around from place to place for years, but it was only the recent show types that really caught my eye. What do they say ... if you can't beat them, join them. I've decided to get Liv an automatic carrot peeler for xmas - will make my life easier with her feeding all the birds and all :-)

Thanks all for the Welcome. I'm certainly keen to get hold of some show budgies and show them and from what I've seen, I like the Spangled a lot - especially the greys, but this could change as I find more exotic colours. Hey Liv, nice to be here (and to all those not in the know, I have to admit to knowing **Liv** as we are related.) Time to go off and read some more...

Hello all good Budgie Folk, I'm relatively new to budgies and don't have any of my own. Hoping to - when I can learn enough to look after one - until then I'll be reading up and learning what I can from this site. From what I've heard it's got a lot of good people running it, and full of information :thankyou: I'll welcome myself aboard, Oh, and the name isn't really Bond, James...
