  1. Hi, Milk was only an example, your Pine o Clean and dettol etc also has a use by or best before date and this is only to inform you that after this date the company will not guarantee the product. By the way you can still use the milk after the use by date I do. but my choice. PS would you give your childern medicine out of date? again your choice Jack
  2. Hi rachelm The manafacture puts a date for a reason, as in when you buy milk. it may seem okay but they want back the product once out of date. Me no, I wouldn't use it but then I have 4 cows to share with it. Jack
  3. It is sad to lose a bird, but i agree with Dave Jack
  4. Great picture :laughter:
  5. Hi all, well I started two years ago and had two pairs in one cage and they started atacking each other over the boxes, i removed one pair and pair breed well, I then read up on here, from then on on have breed in breeding cages with no fighting. I have a mate that colony breeds and has problems all the time. But this is my choice. jack

  14. agree will MD, i started with colony breeding (only two pair) but as soon as they started fighting i looked up this forum, read what everyone had to say and moved my pairs to breeding cages. these guy have lots of info and is a great help. :rip:
  15. I did go and found it to be very interesting. birds look great but didn't buy as we are moving in September. Maybe at the pine River auction?? PS was very tempted so I only stayed for two hours.
  16. The only downside of this auction is that it will be a LOOOOOONG day. Bidding starts at 9 but probably won't conclude before 4PM with a break for lunch. No need to stay for the duration though. well i throught it would be a long day, only going to check it out
  17. I'm thinking of going as I have never been to a budgie auction before (cattle and Horse only), should be interesting
  18. Just like to agree i have quarantined two birds over the last three months, yes friends think I'm over the top. But I have a mate that has birds and he does'nt quarantine and I have told him many times that he will get into troulbe. Yes and he has, but still want listen. So you can only advise, its up to them, as hard as that may be.

Hi, just a quick note to say that the info I get from this forum is very good, when I have a problem or not sure what to do I check hear and I have always found what I have been looking for. I have a mate that breeds budgies and I ask him and then I look it up hear, then Itell him what you guys say and now he also looks up this forum. I have 3 pairs, just starting, I have a set of babies (4) they have just left the box. I have them in differant cage and will put them with the other soon, Don't want to breed a lot. Anyway just like to say thanks for all the info althought I didn't have to ask. Jack
