i think its fine to breed iin avairy the only problem i found is the other hens attacked the breeding couplebut this couple was not well bonded at all and i think it was a once off thing. so many quality breeders breed in avairy and have found no or little amounts of problems , so yee its worth a shot xx Elise xx

heyy i have paired a recessive pied skyblue cock to a recessive pied skyblue cinnimon hen, there names are apridite and polkahontas the recpieds were paired on the 13th of july. i got my first egg on the 29th and my second today the 1st of august. but last night a cat came and attaked the but i woke up hearing loud chirping and hissing and i saw that stpid white cat :| so i brought them inside and they are happy as ever ( i bet coz now they are in a heated house ) well yee this is all of my news today xx Elise xx

haha im replying again i would say that you did upsize the chick as the body and plumage looks to be upsized slightly but as for the head it looks like a pet type head yes i agree with putting the chick to dad once he has grown up as then you may get the upsized head too good luck with it xx Elise xx

if i interpreted this right you upsized. which means you enlarged the line of the chcick and so it will appear bigger than an average pet type but smaller than a show. if im correct you wont get the same cap and ' boof ' as the father in only one generation as it is a mix of two sizes creating a medium. yee lol it dont make any sence what i wrote sorry darl but im hoping you get what im meaning. xx Elise xx
