yea warragul back on high alert some parts town been evacuated and its like vacent people gone safe where i am but fire came to close yesterday we had all procortions ready at kazzys elvis flew over early this morn and army trucks ariving 20 more firetrucks and where i liked 3 months ago been moved to evacuation center my fam said they are safe for now and we are in more threat but jindiviced brandy creek road nilma bulnbuln all on fire rokby many more darnam yarram drouin is worst with so many loses of homes schools the cheese place out this way gone the robin hood was said to be gone but is not many loses of life and none been reported on death toll so when this is finished dont be shocked at the actuall number of deaths my friends friend is a ambo and got a call out not longago 7 dead in car a family very sad people being draged from drive ways parst out and on verge of death some didnt make it its not good i hope everyone on here are safe and well ps my birds all well and fam so im one the lucky ones but wont be going home anytime soon roads still blocked freeway open again partly thats good sighn

could be just the lighting but looks like a mauve pied what was mum and dad first chick to me looks to be getting sky blue feathers near tail but as it is a spangle may be cobolt also like second bird which is normal of trate thats my guess spangle one could have clear flights but i dont think so bit young may turn grey not blue taking seconed glance fourth picture pied for sure

Here it is.... I also had another chick hatch in another nestbox that was too small up against its siblings... so I put it in the spangle nest for company. lovley kaz good going your birds are always so beautiful and healthy love them

i had a alexandra parrot in a large indoor aviry and a newly fledged baby in a inside cage both birds were allowed to freely fly and the budgie decided to fall in love same story exactly after some months the budgie was allowed to follow kermit into his cage and then another month latter kermit was allowing buby to preen and sleep head on his leg very cute they should become mates i think no other bird did kermit exept sadley i had a visiter and their son grabed buby in full flight braking his ribs and causing internel ingerys he died in few hours sad i put all birds away when people come now better still i dont invite people offten

my fam in middle of at this very moment little girl birds i pray live if fire does go over house they have no chances as pines all along back of my new aviry and will explode so and fire comming both ways fast all i can do is know what is is am very scared for them all towns lost homes this morning very close to them they have set fire plan in action and are praying themselfs kazzys been so suportive and i really owe her heaps for putting me up as i know no one in my area at all bar her and her sister and would be in the evacuation shelter if she had not offered her home

congrads the spangle seems to me to look like it could be holding a rececive pie genetics (the second picture at start of post) although if is no babys will be unless father is split recesive dont quote me on it but a test mating would tell for sure bubs doing great good to see interested in the fellow mix have nice few fellows myself although one just for looks as is old male

for thoughs wondering my fam savived the night fire burn all way around them but this morn fire burning their town the set plan in action no leaving home no going out side is relistic now more than ever for them so no update on my birds as to dangerous to cheak fire burning toward them on both sides they say its for miles their home backs on to large farm land and vallys of trees and so on and same on other side phone line back for now and mobiles working candles batterys for radio so on i feel more optamistic all though they are in more danger this moment then from the start of this thanks kaz my family are pretty balanced and dont freak out so this has me beliving they will come through this fine if anything is going to happen it will be not long now so im kind of glad its almost over the out come well its in the big mans hands

running water with hand does not always work fully to be safe run water for a while as i have done this but i did run hand under hose but first half was in shade so after the second hose lenth came through birds got hot spray but alas only the second part of hose was hot so took a bit to become hot insted of to become cold just a note run for lenth of hose not till cool

rain wont help up here its rained bits but drys before it hits all things good and bad happen for reasons that is the only comphert i can imput and that even in my own situation we can only hope to find positives to the worst negitives and the only positive although harsh for me right now is that if by chance things turn out unberablely painful that at least my family was at home i would know where they are not be serching for weeks to identafy where their at from me a blessing to all who have tragiclly lost their lives may you find your way to you destined place of rest and my your famileys be sorouned with love and suport in their time of gref be at peaice blessed may you all be as it is .

She was meant for big things in life :angel1: thats what i thought and in knowing that and having iner knolage i guess having no idea whats going on is making my body in shoke hence the bad feeling and with her being protected im asuming my mum dad and brother also would be as they are with her so i can see the fire from here thats what scares me more and my birds were all okay at 830pm no deaths so thats a good thing but no news from anyone since and last woreds spoken were we all have to stay in side now love as the ash and ambers are to big and you cant see more than two feet in frount i will keep you posted i did talk to my baby and told her that she was safe and even if the fire comes really close and she has to stay carm as panic is what ends lives she is very with it and told my she knows and has not forgotten that she is going to do what she is told to the t so i know she will she is strong what frightens me is if the fire comes at them mums plan was they all jump in car which is parked out in the court waiting and lay low on floor till it passes me i would of spent day digging a hole in the red clay just bigenough for body lenth and 2to 3 foot deep if it came lay in that with soked woolen blankets covering whole body but thats me im not their i should be their she is blessed and protected you are right thanks darl for reminding me of her strenth xxxxx

And the eyes will only stay pink in a cin chick within 3 to 5 days of hatching, but Kazzy's cin chick is spinning me out because her new cin chick still has pink eyes still after 1.5 weeks. And all my cin chicks, which I breed alot of, the 5th day eyes darken, and with fleding eyes are normal.

i was very lucky all i lost were my dear fish i had them five years due to heat and keeping eye on my birds i neglected to check them till night but was to late they had boiled to death even in a two foot deep pond rip my fish (they were the large type) good side to story they had babyslast month and out of the 3oo i have save around 30 doesnt sound like much i know but im told thats great so i have fish still only they are like 2 mm long lol rip everyones passed on friends

yes i already fixed my problem that next day i made copper wire mesh doors for daytime and i also replace doors at night great minds think alike hay kaz lol i will try post some pics what i did latter if bro will let me think im getting kicked off real soon

its a good sighn that the house inspection has been pushed back as mabe the house is a surething but universe is putting everything in timeing i remember you saying something about you loving this home but it was earlier than you really wanted ...i really am hopeing you get it darl be pationt timming is everything and moving is stressful so mabe everything is going to happen in secwance ...as for loud music i would simply just go over and politly say you were studing and please just lower the volume for a while if that didnt work then would just put head phones on block out everything
