i wouldnt think the pied was violet here is my violet spangle yf2 next to a normal vishual violet cock infact he is cinnamon so you can see that even with the cinnamon he is defenently violet the yf2he is violet but still only i tend to call him cobalt as he is not so purple as my other vishuals note the patch colour also i thought it was a clearflited pie the diffrence is that doms are ment to have no spots ,clearflights do ....but i have never gotten that dom clearflight thing myself personally they are but the same i was to belive till i came on here to be told they are diffrent i still dont see how ???????

splat i had a bird just did same thing so i got the egg she had had a go at and filled it with hot sweet chillie sauce placed it back in the nest and then after 2 hours went back out removed the egg cleaned the box from chillie sauce and let them be ....next egg she layed few days as per norm she left alone so it works give it a try if not id foster eggs if able

hi guys well today i was talking with a breeder, and some my birds not well he suggested i get some a.v.s. (sulfa) so i am going to take his advice and get some can anyone tell me if they know of anywhere bar sidney that may have this cheers gb he did give me a number of a vet over their who i am going to call but just incase someone knows anywhere closer ?

if i was you i would just buy a new cage for it you can get one at the wear house cheep and id just buy a bigger self feeder for days you are not their and get it a friend if she complains tell her she should be thankful and how would she like to be stuck in a small room with out a friend and no room to move your arms if she says its only a bird then say in that case you wont miss it will you then pick up the cage and walk on out besides if she only shows up for 15 minits each time then you wont need to deal with her as for you boy mates if they think thats harsh mabe their just to week to speak their own mind on the matter see how they feel on the matter after all its really their bird want it or not just me ....

splat im so happy for you your birds are so beautiful and sit so lovley on their perch i went to my first show the other day for long long time birds standeds have changed so much and their wasnt a whole lot of birds i belived that worth even entering but the ones that were man beautiful beautiful beautiful and as far as people go i dont think it has changed much still the same additude i coped as when i was younger exeption of about 4 or 5 lovley people i wont be detured though as understand show day is busy busy busy and will pop along to a meeting her and their see what i can learn congrades mate you should be over the moon with joy fantastic rezult and choise of birds you placed and i say you will need a trophy room not shelf so start the extention lol :anim_19: birds only get better with time so many more feel good days to come

my bro took some pics so i will pm them to you when he lets me it looks awsome its the first heavy rain we have had since they went through when i go out we have to drive through it all were it was burnt its very weird kind of beautiful in an erri way and when we go home you can see all the burnt ridge reminding us how very close it got but this rain is heaven its pouring down again the smell the breeze the steam on the ridge its all so beautiful and relaxing i feel really at peaice for first time in a long time i needed this rain very clencing for the sole i must say

i dont go near my chicks till they have all hatched i cheak on hatch date and then leave them alone on the next hatch date i cheak all is well so i cant help you sorry but personally if you just leave them mum should do her job if she had no probs with first cluch the less you look the warmer they will stay and they should be fine look tomorrow to see if chicks all alive as you dont want to leave dead chicks in box for to long if one did pass i get up at 6 am cheak everyone if okay i leave till 6 pm that night look again apart from that till they all got first fluff i dont even touch chicks but when they are fluffy i clean them morn and night boxes and feet if needed as they get oldder in mouth also as well as feet knees and bums

wow lib that was grose but amazing i think i would have opted fo a vet lol although i had a bird that prolapsed two days ago i thought that was grose she is all good and now but i wont ever breed her thanks for that post it was very interesting love that really helpful stuff but i wont ever do it to scary if a warm bath or steam dont help its a vet for mybirds your birds lucky to have you you do some amazing things for them

hi crissy the cremino hen is yellow face yellow face albeno as you are most probbly awer so if you place the above cock with her you may get grey wing chicks yf 1 and or 2 or plain white face colours would be as you would expect in any normal blue to mauve pairing or blue to blue im being very lazy with my awnser as all the expectations are in here you only need to look them up they are lovley birds and myself i wouldnt pair them but only as if you want yellow face id put yellow 2 to white for best rezults or for yellow face every time a yf2 and a dfyf good luck oh not knowing his background you could get anything but they would all be lovley all the same mutation wize

hi guys i didnt see the pics to clearly but grey wings have diffrent cheek patches to clear wings thats all i can add thats the give away on if its clear or grey wing but you would all know that

we had heaps of rain birds are lovin it as am i i just collected fresh wet grass and gum leaves for them all still drissling but main down fall has stoped you can actually see all the steam comming off the moutains wear the fires passed through its actually quiet beautiful i have never seen anything like it exept when you place a hot frying pan into cold water

what was wrong with the two cage idea seemed a very good silution to me you could have one in the lounge and one in the familey room bed room kitchen (dinning room ) but if you want to give her up good luck finding a nice home

yes belive me its kind of like having a heap of pet budgies inside but i dont need to worry about the poo on everything lol the lips yes make it all that much homely and is good protection but would not sugest people get them as i needed to change the lenghth and all and their wood a big no no i plan to get diffrent ones when i move but they were all i could find at time up here on short notice it is just like a little room in their just need a kettle and a bar frige id be set lol who knows what the future brings lol

kazzy how about some pics with the birds inside aviry like an aviry update of your aviry in general birds as well as pics of outside as you have some beautiful colours and birds as well as the home they are kept in that way i can enjoy looking at your birds when ever i feel like it lol with my own coffee may not be quiet the same but i can imadgen

thanks guys im going to put a little coffe tabble and a chair in their when i move the cocky only comes in when im in the aviry as does my dog we all spend time together in their while i klean boxes sweep floor was dishes change water so on usually 3 to 4 hours a day i spend in their and sometimes longer the birds come down to me to say hi most think im a big bird i think lol i quiet often go have a snooze in their i was going to invest in a hammick but decied id just get a bean bag instead a leather one i can remove when i leave i do alot of writting in their and take my mp3 and ear phones andjust chill out it will be much nicer when i move in a month and bit so i will post pics of the changes i make birds do love it im very happy i really love spendig time with all my animals in their

that was not what i was asking i was asking how do you go about making sure it had not spread and did a vet diagnose the birds efected and how ? what ? is the procederue of making sure it does not spread is it air borne so on how can you be sure its not going to afect the rest of your flock?
