I tried to have a look at the eggs but the hen wouldnt let me near them. I thought it would be best not to aggravate her and make her leave the nest, just in case they were real.

Yeah, I've had a little look around and there is alot of information about budgies, I cant wait to read it all.

What color variation would this be? Thanks

Hopefully, I sent an email to the nearest club I could find and Im gonna show the info to my parents and hopefully they will see that it isnt that much out of their life to take me.

Thanks, I'll try that and hopefully it will fix it. I have another hen on eggs at the moment but I dont know if they are fertile or not, how do you tell?

I have my budgies in an aviary with several nest boxes. the budgies havent molted yet, and the male has mated before with good results. The only thing I could think of is that the ratio of hens:cocks is 3:1 Would this be a problem? Should I get another couple of males?

Hi this breeding season 2 of my hens who have laid eggs and had them hatch before have laid dead eggs with nothing inside. Is there something wrong with the budgies?

However, my parents seem to think {quote}'the whole idea is stupid' and wont drive me to a club unless its under 20 mins away. I'm trying to convince them so I might get lucky and get them to agree to let me join a club...

Hi I am trying to train one of budgies to go to shows and was wondering what the best way to do it would be? She is about 1 year old now and has spent all of her life with other budgies, will this be a problem? Thanks, Nick

Hi everyone, my name is Nick and I'm new to this forum. okay a bit about myself, I'm 15 years old and I have kept budgies for 5 years now and bred them for two. I only have 5 budgies at the moment, but I have a hen on eggs as well. I recently decided to get into showing and was looking around google when I found this site. Any advice on showing would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
