I am really confused shannon. You got him at the pet shop right? and you put him in a quarantine cage with babies so he could feed them. you said he has staining because he has been feeding chicks, so how can that photo be 2 years old? When did you get him? 2 years are go When did you put him in a quarantine cage? whan i got him When did you put the babies in the quarantine cage? the day before no i did no but him in the cage to feed the baby i put him in the cage becos i had no were to put him

it is 2 years old the photo i got the babies of a breeder and had them in the cage and i put him in there because i had no other cages to put him in for 30days

i got him at the pet shop and i quarantining and i the quarant cage i have babys in there that i got for free and his is feeding the babys so i put he has babys that is carrot apple and Soft food and greens & millet on his face in the cage so he can look out for tham insed of me feeding the babys

hey kaz i ask tham they have did it all reed i got 15 budgie of one man but they are oney selling all there old sock now that i do not want i am in the mackay city budgerigar society People continually cull birds Shannon. The thing is they may think you only want budget birds. Make it known that you want some better quality birds and talk about the features you are after in birds you want. Then you will be offered some better birds. BUT better birds mean more $$$$$$'s. You will have to be prepared to pay more money for better birds or you will continue to get cr*p birds sold to you at the "bargain" prices. Remember too that budgie breeders will not sell good birds if they are of the opinion your aviary and breeding room and knowledge isnt up to scratch. Demonstrate you are doing things right and that you have good sound knowledge and then more breeders will be willing to sell to you.
