Hi Michelle you havent handled a mad hen then if you have not had blood drawn talk about hurt lol

usually its the hens that bite the hardest but that aside i found that if it is really persistant in biting have a small piece of twig in your hand for it to bite on after awhile they settle and know your not going to hurt them Or you could always wear WELDERS gloves lol :devil: Hows my hen doing Missylu? and dont forget the pics of any others :ygbudgie:

I* haave a hen that does that now all i did was get an empty smoke pkt the cardboard type which i had trouble getting as there are no smokers in our house but i just put that at the end of the nesting box she then keeps the eggs and young down the other end hope that helps

Hi Mate i have my son amd daughter inlaw to thank for this set up it started as just a little something to fill in time i swore when i stopped breeding 35 yrs ago never again well the bug has bitten me big time again will be another 3 or 4 weeks id say before i have birds in there but it is exciting just thinking of it

Well my avairy is finished and my holding room connected to it is nearly ready. It more a matter now of fitting out the internals cant wait to have them both in opperation as my breeding room is starting to look like a pet shop will post some pics soon
