Hey all, what is a good bedtime for budgies, what time do i say 'goodnight' and put the sheet over the cage??? Why this time if you have an opinion. Is there any affects if you dont???

WOW, that was a shoke , i thought they loved mirrors, and it was good for them Thanks, i got rid of the mirrors straight away. il have to go and get some toys to replace it. They do LOVE mirrors, as they think they have a mate in them (their reflection). Be prepared for an unhappy/cross budgie if he is used to having his mirror. He will get used to it after awhile. Another member had a post about it, and her budgie was scretching when they took it out, but they did get over it. Budgies love colourful toys. Thoses simple o rings, chew toys (with wooden bits), don't get a fake bird toy (similar problems as with mirror), um.... look for stong well built toys... and keep your receipt and packaging and post them here if you're not sure. That way they can be returned if need be P.S. This is my favorite online shop for parrot toys. My Parrot shop Have a look around. At the least it will give you an idea of what they like and is safe as this place tests all of their toys on birds i took it out this morning, he was so freaked, he didnt know what to do, i felt so sorry for him. :-(. il have to go to the pet shop and buy some more. By The Way i thought they where colour blind.

  15. What do you mean by 'draft', they dont like 'draft' does this mean blowing air because mine loves a bit of fresh air blowing on him. bit confused with that one. by the way, when i take mine in the car, i put him in a small cage with food and soaked lettuce. and he just sits there looking out the window.
