She is beautiful, how long have you had her?
  3. Here's another picture of him. My mom is really keen on the name Ollie so he could be an Ollie. He can be so out going somtimes but as soon as your hand goes in he's like "Do I put one foot on or maybe it's both? Or do you just lick it?" Yeah he's still unsure of the hand so I havent let him out his cage yet, so I just talk to him everyday and put my hand next to him and he nibbles and licks me. He's strange he wont go on your finger with both feet in the cage, but if you put oyur finger through the bars he goes on with both feet....he's strange.
  4. I'm stuck on what to name this little guy...He at least I think it's a he. Well any way its very active and talkative it likes to kiss you if you come near the cage, it can also be quite naughty by unclipping dishes from the bars tipping water and feed over the place. If you blow kisses to t asked all bashfull and he sleeps with its head tucked in its wing. The sun was shinning in and I think it washed the colour out a little bit.
  5. 5 normal greens split for ressecive pied (I think) they have small head spots. And a cinnamon Opaline. 5 normal greens split for ressecive pied (I think) they have small head spots. And a cinnamon Opaline. The're not so little they've all gone to good homes (One has ended up staying with me)
  6. I am amazingly proud of her!
  7. She looks like a yellow faced type 2, normal skyblue too me.
  8. Well Lumina and George raised another clutch I didnt particularly want to breed her again untill later because she only had a clutch of 4 chicks but seven eggs last October. But I dicied to let because she started laying eggs on the floor and mating with George her mate and she built a proper nest. After leting her breed again she laid eight eggs all fertile. I was very, very nervous I wasjust like wooh she is not going to cope. Then the chick were being plucked by father George causing them to bleed. So George had to be seperated leaving Lumina on her own. She did great though. I also didnt come on the forums that often because this time I was a little more hands on, Lumina needed help on some of the feeding. Then I lost a chick at two days old, that was my first chick death so I was a little depressed. But in the end she raised six beautifull chicks. 5 males and one female (why did I complain about having to many females?) Well here she is.... Iv'e never seen her so happy in my life she chirps to herself and flirts with me and bobs her head(she's always been quite manish...I thought she was a boy after I got her) And she a bit scruffy because her mate George plucked her too and I think she's starting a moult.
  9. You could try straw or hay I dont know the difference(the thiner one) roll it in a ball and tie it up to the top of the cage you can use a clip or peg to if you like. But pick up the bits that fall on the bottom of the cage, because she could start nesting
  10. He sounds just like my boy Oushi he was so quiet he barly ever spojke only if you sang to him, he loves music. But then again if you sat by his cage he'd sit their with his head to the side ready to here you sing. But now he's chirps and flirts with me.
  11. Yes she is cinnamon too...I forgot to add that
  12. This is the picture of the long awaited Opaline chick I've wanted for so long. I already own a yellow faced blue opaline but after seeing on one of the members green opaline budgie's I had to have one. This little girl came from my normal green pair. She is adorable

  18. I have 6 chicks 2 of the chicks which are 16 days old and are being plucked, I think but they are defantly losing there fluffy feathers. What do I do? This never happened last time, I have put it down to stress because she has more chicks than the last clutch. A picture As you can see they are incredibly bald they backs were completly feathered.
