This is the stinkers cage. It's huge. It's about 64" long, 21" wide (no longer fits through my room door) and cage itself is 35 high. I don't remember how tall it is besides a bit over 5 feet http://i201.photobucket.com/albums/aa143/F...es/PA241588.jpg I've been told it can hold 16-20 budgies but 20 is pushing it. I could get away with it, with all the out time my guys get although i don't see myself with 20 budgies any time soon Then i'm thinking about getting this cage off ebay to house All the budgies including the babies if we get any until i decide what i'm going to do with them all. http://i167.photobucket.com/albums/u124/My...07/CIMG0338.jpg This cage i'd say max would be 10-12 with lots of out time.

I was thinking about adding a like to this site but havn't got around to that either. Hopfully egg#1 wont be a loney little egg as of tomorrow. I tried marking the egg but it seems so faint on the egg now. Hoping i will be able to tell #1 and #2 apart for when i go to mark the second one. Lilly is such a good mom. She does come out everynow and then to eat and drink and let peekie do his job and then she is back in sitting on her little eggie.

All babies would also be split to recessive. None of my babies would be cinnamon unless dad is split to it and whats the chances of that. Well heres a picture of the egg. It looks a bit loney don't ya think. The Egg i took this while lilly and peek were both out of the cage flying and taking a quick chow down on veggies. Lilly sat on the egg all through the night. She's being such a good birdy mom. Peeks being a pretty good dad. Eating his veggies and feeding lilly. The egg is soooo small. It's like the size of a cadbury mini egg. They are still mating and peek sits on the door perch and starts singing/chattering about. I wish i could have got a nestbox cam. It would be really cool to be able to watch lilly in there with her eggs.

They are beautiful. And wow. That beautiful sly blue with a band of 1997. He sure is getting up there in age. I hope he lives another good few years with you.

Oh what a shame. I was really hoping or some more recessive pieds. My YfT2 is also a cinnamon but sadly that wont do anything unless peek was split for it and i don't know. Well i guess some more normals wont hurt. Maybe i will get super lucky and peek be spit to something and get a really pretty chick.

Well i didn't want to say much till i was 100% sure. Today lilly laid her first egg. I am shocked. I know i shouldn't be. All the signs add up like them mating, feeding each other, huge poo's and swollen vent. This is my first time breeding but i feel confident that i can do this. I'd like to know to i think. I have a YFT2 Hen (looks all green tho with a tad bit of blue towards her legs/vent area, Even more green then the one you posted) and a recessive male cobalt. I'd personally just want to know if they will produce YFT2 recessive pieds (i love these).

I love that cage. I have a question. Can you take the top cage off and say lay it on a stand and the bottom cage still have a top (wire roof like a normal cage) ?

House budgies and tiels. Usually tiels on one side and budgies on the other. Some times i take out the divider and let them all mingle. I do love it because i can open it up into one huge cage. I thought about placing it near a window only there are drafts because new windows got put in a year ago and well.... it never got finished. Because it's not finished i have a small issue of Lilly chewing on the wall. i've taped up what i could and stuck up some paper where she loves to chew. Life with birds i guess.

Sometimes i open it all up and let them all mingle. I'm not so worried as they all get along great. I really love this cage BUT it does take up alot of space. I'd love to get the double stacked one. Only issue with that is lack of light on the bottom. I've had a double stacked cage before but it was poorly built and horrible to be taking apart. Hardly any good light got down to the bottom. Eventually sold it to a dove breeder. It also don't help to have such a small door(room). Hi all I'm new. I own a flock of 5 budgies and 2 Cockatiels. I have a normal sky blue cock(sonic), A normal Cobalt hen(peanut), Sky blue greywing opline hen(shilo), Yellow face type 2(some say golden face) sky hen(lilly) and a Cobalt recessive cock(Peek A Boo). They all live in one side of a large double flight cage. Wel most of them. Peanut is off in a small travel cage becase of scaly face which is almost gone. Another 12 days till she joins the flock once again. These are some small images of them with there names included.
