okay welll this cage is like 3 - 4 times the size of the breeding cages people use so I figured it would be cool for like 8-10 of them. So I need like a box for each bUdgie? is everything else with the setup fine? By The Way thanks for replying so fast.

Hello Can someobdy please tell me if this is the right setup for breeding? There is 3 budgies in there at the moment if you enlarge photo you should see fine, well at the moment I am just after if this is a good setup for breeding. It only has 3 nest boxes all are level...... adding 4 to it and will house about 8 budgies. anyway if this isn't the right setup somebody can you please tell me how I can fix to make it so. thank You *************EDITED OUT SHORTCUTS WHICH ARE NOT ALLOWED *******************

I was told that it would be fine to house them together untill they are of breeding age and only then have them together when you are breeding is this correct? or not?

How long should you leave veggies and fruit in the cage or aviary? Once it is put in for them to eat? Should you replace it daily? or every couple of days? Or even after a few hours? I dont buy like fresh veggies from the shop because I end up throwing most of it out so I buy the mixed veggies stir fry without the sauce of course or just plan mixed veggies. I defrost them in the microwave is that okay also?

Apple? I read I think on this site somewhere that apple is fatal?

I put wire over that cage in the photo to stop them getting out, I have this cage below that is listed on that cage post can I breed in this cage? If this is fine for breeding and you didn't care for what colours came out could you house 2 breeding pairs in this one?

Dimensions: 91 x 69 x 62cm which is about 3x2x2 foot and I planing on getting a breeding pair soon and not going to mate my current 2 for another 10 months. Thanks

Apart from a regular great seed what other healthy things should you feed to you budgie? Like vegies or something as a regular thing with the seed they get? I buy a packet of mixed vegies and feed them to my cockatiels can I do this with my budgies as well? Thank You

Fast replies! That's cool! I just bought them on Sunday they are 2 months old. I put them in a 3x2 Foot cage I bought from Deals Direct very annoyed because I had to attach wire to it because it has spacing I think of 3cms or more. Would this sort of cage be alright for breeding? I will add a external nest box of course. Also I have a aviary 2.5m L x 2.25m H x 2.25m W I have 6 canaries 3 finches and now only 1 quail in there some how the other quail got out, I only bought a pair of them on Sunday as well. How many budgies could I put in this aviary? I am planing to breed in more of these cages if you guys say they are alright I will put another 9-12 or so more outside around the back of my house. It will be great if someone could answer these questions for me. Thanks
