anybody currently use bird vitamins. Well I do and it says 6 drops per 100ml for canaries and finches and 12 drops per 100ml for budgies and parrots. My questions are how many drops would equal a ml because its to hard to acutely measure 2lts of vitamin water successfully so I use a syringe and go by mls 25 drops = 1ml I found out well I hope it is, so I've been using 5ml per Lt for my budgies. Last question do I have to keep giving the cuttle fish bone since there is vitamin D in the water?

Have any photos tried seaching the forum got way to many results and most didn't even have the topic related that I searched.

I've had a lot of people say get this sort or this sort. Well I am at a lost. I am after some advice on variations that are easy to breed and look great. Maybe even use them as show budgies. Must be breed that are good for the beginner breeder and be around my area I live in NSW. I've contacted a few breeders they just now know what I would like.I'm after about 8-10 different breeds.

Hello I'm interested in getting some white budgies. How do you tell the sex of them? I know with some its blue mark is male and the light brown is female. that's as much as I know about sexing these types.

there out the front so anybody that enters the front yard has access to them. they were in shade in the monring but got afternoon sun but anyway I went and moved them again to shade now they get no sun and then again the cops showed up again after I moved them today saying they got another phone call. its bs. I moved them like they asked and still on my case.

Can you put canaries in with budgies?

Is it okay to have your birds outside in a large cage Dimensions: 60cm x 60cm x 168cm. in the full sun or is it considered cruel, they offcourse have water and top of cage roof provides shade. reason I ask somebody called the cops on me said there was dead birds because of the heat which was bs. plenty of food, plenty of water. water might be a bit warm but can;t help that would still be hot in shade.

yeah setup in a cage with breeding boxes 3 budgies 1 male 2 females, but might not be old enough yet. they are all like 3-4 months out of the nest this month. thats all the guy said. that i bought from.

oh good you think Birds eye country harvest is good it has carrot, broccoili, cauliflower, grean beans and red capsicum.I could also add like corn and peas to it to frozen ones I defrost them, put them in the fridge I will then pull them out and give them to them or will that be to cold for them still?

Can you buy like the freezen home brand packs of like peas, beans, silverbeet, carrot? Are they fine or are no freezen vegies in packs good?also how long should you leave the vegies in there 1 day 2 days or what?

Can you like make up a mix of what vegies you said above and freeze them. then defrost and give to budgies?

If you used supplements do you still need to feed them vegies?

great thanks guys will devide across the middle and will have 2 pairs in the cage one in top and one in bottom.O umm last thing food wise, I buy budgie mix home brand most of the time, mix it with shell grit and cuttlefish bone. What other stuff would I need. Like vegies? Spinich, carrots? what other foods should they be getting while on breeding season and off breeeding season?

yeah okay I will devide the cage into 2 cages, should it be wire or a board I use to divide it?
