  1. Personally, I would take them to a vet and if there is nothing for them to be treated, i would have them put them to sleep  They might be okay now, but come winter they will suffer
  2. I have to agree with Kaz on this one
  3. Always look at the vent, tail bobing, feathers above the cere. Look out for any fluffy ones. Basically, just get to know your birds and at the first sign of any acting different, pull them out and see whats wrong and go from there. Most breeders have a hospital cage which is used for sick birds and is kept away from the main flock until healthy.
  4. Awwww - isn't he cute
  5. they are sweet looking birds
  6. I do this  And i use eucalyptus oil on cotton balls to keep mice away (and smells great )
  7. I dont know anything about their pedigree or breeding history and age etc, but going on looks alone i would also pick the grey green cock sitting at the top left
  8. There are some nice looking birds in there. I like the ones you have pointed out. I see a few other nice ones in there too

We are going to leave the angle as thats the natural slope and it will be hidden by the shed, just need to prop it up so it doesn't erode.

Well, They did it!! They are all stuffed, but managed to dig out the solid clay We still need to add some retaining to this The shed has been put in place to test its fit and see how it looks.... YAY!! finally its off that weird angle and looks more like a shed should

No neighbours on that fence and they are putting retaining wall back where they have cut it out

My father in-law and brother in-law have come over to help with the shed move The removal of the retaining wall - too easy with 3 strong men. They removed the top soil with ease, but then they hit CLAY!!!! Oh boy! It was like trying to smash though bricks They are still at it... more updates to come.
  23. What gorgeous photos Looks like you have a real mischief maker on your hands
  24. Looks okay to me. some develop slow if the parents didn't feed all that well. Looks like a hen to me
  25. I am the same - i have 2 inside cockatiels and an inside budgie - all three have clipped wings. If i didnt clip them they would be out the back door in an instant as my two young kids can never keep it closed. There is no harm to the bird having them constantly clipped. Often birds will bond closer to thier owner if they are clipped as they are reliant on you to get around :bliss:
