My First Blood Feather
I have had a few birds get blood feathers. i stop the bleeding then inspect the feathers to see why there was blood. half the time i can not find a broken or damaged feather, so i just leave them alone and they are fine If it keeps bleeding on and off (which does happen ) then finding the source of the bleed and removing the feather is needed.

My First Blood Feather
White pepper is best for stopping bleeding - Corn flour is better than regular flour too

Scooter And Latte
Scooter, Cookie and Latte Update Here is latte and Cookie on their first night inside. They were only 5 weeks old when they came in from the avairy, so Barney, their foster dad, continued to feed them for me "Shhh" Then five days later (tiny) Scooter joined them... Check out the size difference!!!! Some times three is a crowd... But Cookie never likes to leave anyone out for long :hap: I will have to clip the babies wings soon. They are flying well now and I'd hate for them to get out the back door. :offtopic: It is so nice to have these guys inside. They are all adorable and have such different characteristics. The kids just adore them too
