Once Again
Not overly odd, I find when a bird has more greens/fresh food or more water their poos go like this. It's still in the "okay" range because there is a solid in it, the water around the solid doesn't phase me much unless it's really noticable. Colours of their poos usually fluctuate, but in my books that's still okay You're a very watchful owner !

Went To An Auction
I just see heavy suffision which fades to nothing lower down.

Seed Mixes
It's not only the more variety I find appropriate it's the lack of wastage :budgiedance: With normal budgie 1-2 kg would be wasted fo the hulled oats and so on... Now, everything gets eaten Less mess to clean up after and hopefully less rodents attracted haha!

Went To An Auction
I'd say it's just a normal DF with bad suffision as there isn't any banding/pattern to the suffision, unlike MB's

External Hard Drives?
I feel you on that one birdluv!!! that totally sounds like him! We've been told by the experts if the hard drive is fried nothing is retreivable, but if it's only not booting into windows we should be able to save it all... The most precious pictures I have ever taken are on there... my Grampy who we lost in Nov last year, wearing a bright yellow Wu-Tang jacket on his 80th birthday :budgiedance: (He was a doctor and worked with Fremantle street kids... maybe he thought it was cool?) haha! And my gran at the christmas just gone holding one of my weero's I've got all my fingers and toes crossed that it's retreviable, going to have to wait for dad to get off his butt and take it in We've down graded to a spare 80 gb hard drive from my brother at the moment Liv... suprisingly works faster than the 250 gb one! Probably doesn't help we only had 40gb of space left on the old one

External Hard Drives?
I don't have one, but need one badly! Last week my sisters partner wiped our hard drive and to say the least I was very unimpressed and ticked off! Many many many photo's of special events and people/animals who're past were on there... We're all praying to god that it's able to be retreived... The moment it is, i'll be backing it all up... If it doesn't manage to be retreived... he's going to have h*ll to pay :fear Our computer was less than 1 yr old and had a 250gb hard drive when it crashed

All leafy greens which are safe for human consumption are safe for our budgies. Some just provide more nitrients than the others

New Pics Of The Gang
Start with young birds, their habits are easier to set in as adult birds aren't always so flexible with their "learning"

Limestone
Now next to my aviary is a small garden bed which contains a fish pond, due to there being a water main or something under there the garden bed is very shallow and the pond is not able to be totally burried in. My partner and I plan to raise the garden bed by making a lime stone wall around it to allow us to add more soil in a make it a nice area. To do this a lime stone block or two will have to be up against the aviary wire near the entrance door to prevent sand flowing in. Will this harm the birds in any way or will the lime stone be an added mineral supplement which they're allowed to pick at? If it's toxic to them or harmful I'll have to look at other means or barracades between aviary and stone Any one got any ideas or knowledge on this subject?

Diet For Avairy Birds.
I do my birds up a dish every second day of chopped lettuce ( personal choice, bok choy/spinach is better) grated carrot, whole hard boiled crushed eggs, dried bread crumbs (supermarket) grated apple and a mix of other things like vitamin drops and calcium added in (it changes by what's in the fridge ) the alternative days they get their grasses (winter grass and dandelion plants) from the garden. Seed and water are provided at all times as well as calcium bells maybe 1-2 days a week they'll get no fresh foods, but in summer atleast once a day all cabinet birds are given them when nesting (don't forget they LOVE native fresh branches, especially peppermint tree leaves and bottlebrush)
