they are only young babies, and all the hens are breeding there is no sign of fighting!!! The water may be an issue Ill go and clean it, no i dont think mice can get in.

I feed them a budgie seed from my local pet shop, and sometimes Whistler from Woolies Greens from the garden Cuttlefish There is no sign of sickness, they just die, and they look pale when they are dead. Colony bred, I have already had 1 clutch of 4 that none of them died. Thanks Kirsty

Hi, About 3 weeks ago all my females laid eggs, they had 5,5,2. 4,5,0 hatched and I have had three out of nine die already. What am I doing wrong??? HELP please. Kirsty

Hey Kaz, Hurray Finally eggs. Thanks for your help I changed the nest boxes around and now all 3 females are laying eggs! One of them has three but she did not sit on them last night, but the other one with three did - when do they start sitting normally? Thanks Kirsty

I have 3 pairs of Budgies outside in an aviary, and they just wont breed, whatever I do. They always look in the nest boxes, and the males do their job, but no eggs come, and my sisters birds have had a clutch already. I am sooo sad because I am a new breeder, and everything seems to be going wrong. The bird book says that you have to stop them breeding and give them a rest, but mine wont start! Hi, The Eggs have all hatched except one (Due tonight) My Sister's Budgie laid 5 eggs but none of them are fertile so I gave her two of my eggs! One of those two have hatched and the other one is due tonight. She is very gratful for the eggs!
