okay so I want a tame loving adorable budgie (okay i know what your saying; they are all adorable but you know what I mean!). I have had three to try with but I think I must have done something wrong. Either that or I was not patient enough. First I had Cheeky - I got him from a pet shop and didn't get anywhere with taming him. Then Kissy - Kissy was home bred and I had things going okay with him till I moved all my budgies up to our house (they were at an old one) then he started to go 'gyke' or in other words he was hardly tame anymore. So I put him in the avairy and he is now a possible Dad. The last one I have had was Storm - I got him from budgieloverkirsty and as soon as I got him home I clipped his wings and was able to have him on my finger but he did not want to be there and would fly away. He would go to his cage whenever possible. Well thats them and now I thought maybe I would get a reall baby that still needed feeding and hand feed him. Would this increase our bond? Now heres what you can do. I have browsed this whole section and couldn't make much of it as everyone was saying different things in different places so... I would like everyone who can to post on here their opinion on the best taming tecnique. I know all birds are different but I thoughtIf I had options I could work out my own program. okay i really know what I will get but if there is any hope for me. I am breeding pepper and kissy pepper is an olive green budgie just like the ones they have in the wild and kissy is a bright green 'wild' coloured one. I am going to get all greens if I get any aren't I. and how do you get rid of greens!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yes as her friend i can tell you that she did get budgies and i have an adorable on like her mum but i will get onto her to let you know what she got!

no they are just pinkish all the time are first time mums more prone to infertility? I have seen pepper and Kissy mating.
