Yeap boil them ( cut into Nice size bits) 10 - 15 mins without skins ( you can add stuff to the water ie garlic, rosemary etc) to flavour them .....

If you are feeding her ( isn't she eating already) Then the crop needs to be empty !!! other wise you can cause serious issues If she is feeding by herself leave seeds in there and check to make sure that she is eating at there will be empty shells from the seeds
