Ahhh I hear this on the radio this morning ... It will cost $5,000 a DAY to feed this whale. Which needs to be feed for the next year that is $ 1,780,000 AUD just to feed it ... It has a 10 - 15% survival rate at the moment. I am all for Animals I love them but I am fence sitting on this one .. BECAUSE is it healthy?? If the mother left it Why? is it dying from something? If we spend that money a day feeding it will it still survive? IF the bloo dy Japanese stop KILLING THEM they would be more off them - I'd love to keep this dying species alive but the odds are extremely against it ... The funds could be used to help our kids here with quality educations ( as public system is suffering) Hospitals and Dr's and Nurses we are sooo under staffed we are turning away the sick because there isn't enough beds - So I hope that we can do something but I am sure the government is weighing it's pros and cons This is my opinion which by free will I am entitled too so if you are offended you shouldn't be

If it is size that is worrying you ... Try and get a nice one of it on your waist ( rib area ) Hurts but nice and big and it is covered most of the time
