  1. Yes, they are ringed and thanks for the tip :bluebudgie:
  2. One light green opaline female and cobalt normal split to ino-opaline, got four babies and two of them seems to be yellowfaces (the other two were blue ino and sky blue normal). I think they are type II yellowfaces, what do you think. I've also been wondering the colour of the mother. Is she light green with yellowface type II factor, or just very greenish sky blue yellowface type II? The father should be just blue, not DF yellowface type I. Here's the mother: ...and the two YF babies.
  3. Here is my little recessive pied girl. She is born in Sweden althought she lives now in Finland with me Name: Noël Sex: Female Colour: Sky blue Recessive Pied Other mutations: YF Type I FBC-greywing?

Here is pictures of my six budgies and two of my friend's Amélie, Lucien and Viki behind these two. Amélie Luna (my friend's budgie) and Melanié Roope Vani and Aqua (this baby goes to the owner of Luna)
  8. A pair of my friends budgies had a very odd baby. He looks like German Fallow to me, but one English Fallow Budgerigar breeder said, that this baby is definetely not a Fallow. As the Fallow gene is recessive, I find it very weird, that half of all the fledlings looked like German Fallows. Here is the baby I think is a German Fallow, but I'm not sure. Here are the parents: Father: http://www.freewebs.com/lintumaailma/lumikki.jpg Cobalt: DF Dominant Pied Clearwing SF Spangle Split to Ino. 9. Hi, I just want to know, is this hen budgie a good quality normal grey budgie? What are her good and bad sides? What qualities should her mate have?
  10. I agree, she is definetely Opaline-Cinnamon (occured due to crossing over between opaline and cinnamon genes.) This budgie has to be a female due to sex-linkage cinnamon and opaline genes. Because both parents have normal black wing pattern, the father has to have Opaline-Cinnamon or Opaline and Cinnamon genes hidden...female babies get always their X chromosome from the father.
