I was also thinking of getting JC a male to mate with because he is ready to breed and If I wanted a different colours either than blue what colour should the male be CC has a small white spot on the back of the head but is very small does this mean she is dominant or it has to be a big white spot for it to be dominant

  8. When a male budgie has a dark blue cere and female has dark brown crusty cere it is in breeding condition? What if they mated and layed eggs when they are not in breeding condition Does it mean if the males isn't in breeding conditon the eggs will be infertile and if female isn't i will lay less eggs. My female has layed 2 eggs and her cere is crusty andark brown and now it is outlining with light blue and my male is dark blue . What does this mean less eggs or will they in fertile
  9. Sorry I won't touch the eggs no matter what beacause I so happy it layed the egg and probably will be fertile and if I touch it the faer me killing the egg will make me put it down

You will need the budgie to stay in breeding condition, a nest box to incourage mating and to lay egg, cuttle bone mineral block a fairly size cage and tight perches that don't move around and in one month they should be mating if they are realy bonded to each other and ready I hope this helps you and I see you have 3 budgies and make sure that the other one is in a differebt cage than the pair

So Ains you are saying that they will mate before the egg is layed to get fertalizzed so if they don't it won't be, but will they stop mating if you change the location of the cage and also can budgies lay 2 eggs in one day or lay one today and another 3 days after another egg or is it all ways 2 nd day.   14. My budgie has layed one small egg and started to incubate the egg does this mean she won't lay anymore eggs or will all budgies lay more than one egg

I have a puppy dog and keeps coming to the birds though and I wanted to change the location of the cage will this cause them to stop laying eggs and do they mate after laying eggs I mean mine layed one egg and now will they mate again to lay more eggs to lay in that cluctch and when I move them to a different location will they stop mating or laying eggs or break the egg or drop it outside ANd how big should the egg be

  19. Can someone send a picture of the lump the hen will have before it lays an egg? My hen has mated with the male alot in a day and mated for 4 days. Is it true that every day that they mate that counts as an egg
