Have they got genetic prediction options and how good and easy to use is it? It's something I would like in the software and hope it would be easy to use.

Hi I am thinking of buying some software to help me keep track of my birds but there are so many programs out there not sure which is best. Here are the ones I am looking at so if you are using any of these I would be grateful for your thoughts on them 1.) Bird Tracker for Windows 2.) Aviary Base Pro 7 3.) The Budgerigar Program 4.) Birds Evolution Pro If you have used 1 or more of these and could give me the strong and weak points of them it would be very useful in making up my mind which to go for? Thanks in advance Tony.

Hiya, I would think it's a cock bird (can look like a blue tinge when viewed in some light conditions) as hens still have light brown to choclate ceres in lution form and do tend to bite when handeled. But if it's a very young bird it could stil be a hen but I would think this to be unlikely. Post a picture to confirm and the birds age approx?

Hiya Thirtyfive Black Did you get popup asking you to download an ActiveX control. If so you must click yes first time only to view the cam. Both cams are compatible with Internet Explorer and cam2 works with Firefox. Not sure about any other Browsers. Let me know if it works for you?

This would not be the best setup as most home cages are too small to breed a pair, don't forget that if they do breed you may have 4-8 babies all in that cage.

What you can do is give the person a list of do's and dont's if you feel they are going to look after them but maybe are a littlle shy on know how as to what a budgie needs? I'm sure that this was the reason that bird died as she did'nt know how to look after it. Sad but probably true.

Just make sure you give him some shade by covering part of his cage to get out of the sun if he wants. I sometimes spray my birds in summer with cold water and they love it. I just spray a mist into one corner of the flight with a hose and let them go to the water if they want and you should see them they love it

It's also possible that he's sky+voilet as that would make him look like cobalt and can be very hard to tell the difference until you breed from him to confirm. Maybe if you post picture's of them all we can have a better idea?

I can't see the cam either...looks like I'm not downloading the active x or java applet needed as I just get an outline with no other info..Had same prob myself with my cam www.southtipptoday.com If this the case let me know and I will help if I can?
