They're soo cute!! I love the pictures of Mom grooming the baby!! Are you keeping all of them?? Do they have names??

Okay so I had her/him out for a little bit today because she/he seemed to be settled in pretty well. I also got another picture of him/her- Is that any better?? Also I don't think that it is that she/he isn't caring for him/herself because he/she has been cleaning and preening him/herself. I will try misting her with a little water later to see if that helps any.

Freeman- I think you might be right about the "clumsy" thing, because it's just like she tries to get into everything and is just kind of wobbly. And maybe she is just still a wobbly little baby, she does look kind of young. I'm not actually sure how old she is. Bubbles- Actually when she spreads out her wings you can see brown on her flight feathers.

Actually the store and the cage he was in was very clean, it's a pretty nice store. All the other budgies were totally clean, except for him/her and one other one that looked almost exactly like him. Do you think that he/she is definitely dirty?? And that that's not markings?? Because he/she was preening and cleaning him/herself and none of it came off. I am going to try giving him/her a bath and see if that does anything. And I think it really is that he/she is just clumsy. See because she fell off because she/he tried to climb on to another perch and lost her balance, and then was hanging there by one foot, and then one of the other budgies bumped him/her. And then she was sitting on something that was kind of thin, and so she was rocking backward and forward. So my sister and I were just joking about how clumsy she was. Do you really think I should take her to the vet?? Because besides being "clumsy" or whatever it is, she seems just fine. I know birds are good at hiding stuff, but he/she is eating, drinking, playing, and everything.

My sister and I went to Petco today............and I am sure you can guess what happened! Of course we went and looked at the budgies....and she says "That one's really pretty!" and I agreed (she's soooo cute!) and so of course we left the store with her. She super cute, but she's also really clumsy....(Laughing out loud) She fell off the perch at the store! I'm pretty sure she's a girl, please correct me if I am wrong. Also let me know if you have any name ideas. Here she is- FRONT- BACK- SIDE-

No, Nathan1 they're not the same pictures! They are the same budgies, but different pictures! I agree with everyone else. I am pretty new to the board but I love looking at everyones pictures of their birds. I think that was very rude of you to say that! Bea- Your birds are very cute! I especially like Blinkie! Keep posting pictures!! Don't let what one person says get to you!

I just got a wine rack exactly like that one for my birds. I am going to use it for an outside of the cage perch though.

Would the galvanized wire that is for animals be okay??

Lovey- Even if I redo it like I was talking about in the post above yours?? Only four or five if it is 3 1/2 feet wide?? Somebody told me 4 or 5 if I left it tall??

Okay, so I have just figured out that the cage comes apart pretty easily. So I am going to redo the cage so that it is the other way around. It would be- Height- 24" Length- 24" Width- 41 1/2" Would that be better?? And how many budgies could I fit in there?? Also, I am going to make the bar spacing smaller by adding extra wire.

It's actually not really a bird cage, it's a ferret cage that I am going to make the bar spacing smaller on. It's a cage I had for a while and I am reorganizing and moving stuff around my room and so I was just thinking about putting my budgies in it. This is the cage-

I would say that Jingles is a boy. I might be wrong, but here are my reasons anyway. I just got a budgie with a cere that was exactly the same color as Jingles' and I thought it was a girl. Then I put a picture on here and somebody (I don't remember who) told me he was a boy. I kept watching him to see if it changed. Then it started getting darker and more purple/blue. So the person who thought he was a boy was right. So like I said, I might be wrong. But I'm pretty sure about it.

Fleur would be a cinnamon though, right? I will see if I can get a better picture of her back. And I will try to get a better picture of Chai too.

Lovey- Yes, Chai has a yellow face. He is getting his pinfeathers with the rest of his yellow in right now. That is also a really bad picture of him. He has yellow in his wings and tail feathers too. Cheeta- No, it's just the camera. Fleur doesn't have red/plum eyes. Her eyes are the normal brown/tan color. I'm pretty sure she is a cinnamon. Her spots are brown instead of black.

Jingles is very pretty! I love the shade of blue. I like the name too, it's cute!
