i have to say what amazing pics of the budgies in flight, they are all very good.ive tried to get these shots may be one day

has any body got any rainbow budgie pictures ,i have been offered to buy some from a breeder, but i want to find out more info first? also has any one heard of a red budgie or is was this an april fool joke i have put a link to picture on budgie pictures ?

im so glad scuttle is getting better.your very lucky having nerwen near by.although i have an avian vet in my town its not the same as having experienced breeder living near me .if i have problems i would normally ask for help on the forum. hope scuttle is getting up to his usual mischief now.

foxy and 'H' always escaped from their nest box they were about 3 weeks old. misty and leicester had 3 babies.so i used to take out foxy and H for play time and put them back to make sure they are being fed.it gave their little sibling some time to catch up but they started to play with millet and then realised it was food then i was hand feeding them seed.misty was always pleased to see them back and put them in line.the baby picture pics are so cute.

i dont cover my tiels and budgies but i have dark curtains about 9pm they are normally roosting.sundays when im not working and lie in till 8am they start shouting, so my 2 dogs and our african grey eric he will start whistling and then when we dont answer he screams then it sets the whole menagery off.

i had 2 lutino's from my old flock that i sold. luckily i had a pair and yours i agree with elly is a male. i have a lutino hen called sunny and her cere is light brown.

my babies at the moment are fussy with veggies/fruit. but my african grey and love bird are happy to eat anything with their seed diet.

i agree with elly. it could be prince is nervous and his surroundings are still strange to him.just keep an eye on him.

i might have a go at growing millet but being in the uk i will grow mine indoors.

sorry to hear bad news about the the little ones. great name for the little surviver.a brilliant choice.

budgie looks male to me?

hi wayno my birds are kept in an indoor aviary, i put nest boxs on it and through experience to put birds in breeder cages is a good idea! both parents get peace with out the others birds interferring.should be okay in the aviary give it a try and see how you go.

when i get some time i will be back in the pictures forum and start again where i left off.nice to see we have got quite a lot of new members and its nice to see there are some old members! :ausb:

hi every one im back online again,been busy working most of last year. i am breeding budgies again and tiels.i got a lovely secondhand indoor aviary and all birds are doing well just waiting for them to start nesting.here in the uk winter was mild this year confusing plants aswell as birds. still cant have my birds outside a neighbor over the back from me has a wild /sick bird sanctuary. and i dont really want to take any chances.its nice to be back.

my old birds werent intrested in pellets.daisy had a prolaspe. i very carefully gently pushed it back with some vaseline and a cotton bud this happened after her first clutch of eggs that wasnt any good ,it happened again i done the procedure again and gave her chance to pick up and then decided to sell her to an eldery friend who promised not to breed from her,and today she is still doing well.although i supply cutlefish and idone block and oyster grit when the mating time started i would by egg food that had vitamins in and made it quite moist to they could absorb more fliuds it has worked for me in the past. bobbyness

unfortuantly i have taken a big risk. i hadnt got a spare cage for spirit.but all the flock are looking well. software program is ulead photo suite , i got this when i brought a cheap camcorder .bobbyness

to me scooter i think is a boy? but he is a young bird because of his black bars on its head i guess anything from 3 months - 6months. but there are lots more on our forum that have more knowledge than me. scooter looks yet another cutie.keep up with the hand taming . bobbyness :hap:

baby 2 looks so tiny compared to baby 1. both look so cute i cant wait for my new flock to start. haggis and hurricane have start the mating ritual ,he is my yellow face/minty green and hurricane she is my pale grey and white. enjoy this time with the babies as they grow so fast. i took a lot of pictures to keep, i was only looking at my old bird from my flock i sold last year she was called misty a friend of mine brought one of her babies and ' H ' he is nearly 2yrsand i still hold those fond memories of them all.how is mum doing? i feed mine with egg food and then we weaned the babys onto it this wont happen for your babies yet. good luck .bobbyness

congrats on tigers first baby how many eggs did she lay.here in the uk my last flock had their eggs hatch around november /december as they are kept indoors and the heating is more warm then. so now with the new flock they can start to get ready to pair up and hopefully we will get more chicks. to see the chicks hatch and grow so quickly its so exciting. when you get time please post some pics on budgie pictures.bobbyness
