I have been having many difficulties within the past 6 months with Butcher birds. There have been 2 juveniles that are an olive/brown in colour and are not afraid of me. I get to within 2 metre's before they move about 10 metre's away. 1 has moved on but one remains and is as bold as ever. It was responsible for the death of my canary a couple weeks ago. I got some budgies on Sunday and a couple of their mutations escape me. The white boy with the blue cere. Would that make her a dilute or some such? and just coz I reckon he is so cute, Mr Handsome:

When I've had to clean them I've used luke warm water on a cotton ball.

Maybe if you clip the 2 longest feathers on both wings of each bird. This won't stop them flying around for exercise but it will slow them down enough so that you can get them back into the cage when you are ready.

60 days for budgies at least 4-6 metres away from other birds. Laundry is fine as long as you don't use powders and they are out of the laundry when doing the washing.

Boris doesn't do this but I have seen some of my other birds do it. I think it's kind of like saying Hi there!

You were too close when taking the picture. I would suggest female too judging from the shape of the eyes & head.
