they are really gorgeous. your yellow bird is not a spangle. if it was a spangle the markings should be very thin black lines on the tips of the feathers. here is a picture of a spangle.

Try using your MACRO setting for closeup photos :fear But, in saying that even with the fuzzy photo...Zeus looks like a boy to me .................PS I have a budgie in my aviary that started out looking like your Zeus. I will take a picture of him for you to see what he may look like when fully grown. yes it does look like a boy in that photo Um...hmmm... I don't think my camera HAS a macro setting..It's a Kodak Easy Share c310. most digital cameras that have the macro feature will have a button with a flower image on it.

Hi and welcome to our forums your budgies is beautiful. as for the sex of your budgie l agree with kaz that a clearer picture of the cere, would help us to determine if you have a male or female budgie
