budgie lover

alright so i was wondering what split to blue is because the female that has now layed 5 eggs had her first of clutch of two yellow faces and two greens and the dad was a blue so does that mean shes split to blue???

she wouldnt breed with any male and she tried mating with other males and female and when a male trying mating with her she threw them off just like another male would do if a male tried mating with him and she was born i think the 5th or 15th of January 2005

shes a vet for all animals but her least specialty is birds so thats what i thought she couldnt help very well but im planin on goin to a city near by to get the bird checked

never not planing on breeding him he has been acting so cute and so tame the vet told me to give him nutrients in the water unless it gets worse

she had the shavings under her but she took em out and plus when i open the box she gets up but when shes sitting they r all next to each other

my cinnamon green budgie that i had for about a year now i found out that she has a tumor and so when i bought her she had a brown cere and so i bought her as a female and i just found out that she has a tumor and the turmor makes her have female looks so basically its a male now the medication that i got got her loosing the cere color and he is starting to act like a male and bobs his heads. http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e219/oha.../Picture020.jpg

honestly Shawna i don't know the answer to your question as i am a first time breeder and so yeah i wont use mirrors and i will post a reply on here from the fourth egg hopefully being deposited tomarrow

for sure i agree with u bubbles i will do that i am really scared of kind of toy to add my male loves mirrors and he takes up all his time playing on it and he likes the rings with bells but mirrors more which should i add????????

sailorwolf should i let all the eggs hatch and then give him a toy or now with only three eggs deposited and wont be too busy playin rather then feeding the babies

my other cage is bigger and i was one budgie in that one i was goin to switch cages but i was scared of how the mother would feel plus she has three eggs
