  1. Its called division.........you divide the recipe quantities into an amount that suits you......like a quarter or half. OR make the full amount and freeze it.
  2. Are you colony breeding again this time ? as you didnt have any success last time that way and you also had sick birds. We dont know what happened to them last time as you never came back and answered our questions. All your previous topics were left "hanging" with no end results or no return answers from you. :budgiedance: I hope they are in breeding condition and healthy and I hope you arent colony breeding. Until you have actual healthy fledged chicks I would put the naming of them on the back burner for now. I hope it works out for you this time. :nest:
  3. Yummo :budgiedance:
  4. Already been said it was a cinnamonwing.
  5. Very easy to make and very cheap :budgiedance:
  6. Wet balls will do that to a budgie :nest:
  7. :budgiedance: I believe you have STOLEN my husbands sense of humour Please return it before he looks for a more corny jokebook :nest:
  8. Dad would have to be split lacewing to get any lacewings or you would only get 50% normal/Lacewing cocks and 50% normal hens
  9. What colour eyes ?
  10. That cage is bad a for a lot of reasons..........bad to keep the average budgie in due to extreme lack of space under normal conditions, so when breeding its makes it worse as there would then be two budgies in a cage too small and not right for budgies.
  11. Post a picture of them ( see link on how to post puctures in my signature ) and we can assess their "breeding condition"for you. Also what is your weather conditions where you are right now ? Are they moulting ? How old are they ? Whats your nestboxes like ? etc Providing very little information to us means we cannot help you as easily.
  12. Clearwings You love a challenge do you Nubbly I put them in the too hard basket myself :hooray: PS good you are doing it for us though
  13. Its not that I love this thread "Pie" ................I just cannot fathom WHY people still believe there are pink budgies out there and are so gullible to believe all the internet pictures which have EXPLANATIONS to them or they choose to believe stories told that have no PROOF or photos :hooray:
  14. As "Pie" says the fact the bird is cinnamon lightens the body colour.
  15. Might have been treated with mercurochrome Ratzy. That leaves orange marked feathers.
  16. A branch with lots of twigs or little branches coming off it :hooray: Kind of like this xmas tree branch
  17. and when you go to choose a male, dont pick the "males" with white and blue ceres as they will be females :hooray:
  18. An easy playgym can be made by finding a safe twiggy branch and setting it in a pot with plaster........so you have a kinhd of bare tree in a pot. Then you set about decorating it with hanging toys, plastic bracelets etc. Good to put in a room where the budgie flys around so it has somewhere to land on, climb about and play. No glue. The plaster is safe, and you can have fun decorating it with toys.
  19. :hooray: Brilliant Isnt it encouraging ?
  20. You wont offend anyone here LBB :hooray: Theres a small minority that believe in the possibility of the pink budgie, another smaller minority that believe every pink budgie scam out there and most of the rest of us that are a little more "grounded".
  21. Good news The birds are appreciating the better weather. I paired some up too and have eggs already. Paired another few up yesterday as well and looking to do more. Think I can fill the birdroom :hooray: May as well while the weathers good eh ? Looking for some new photos off you mate
  22. More information......where do you plan on using it and how ?
  23. the general opinion is females are bitey and males are less so :hooray:
  24. **KAZ** replied to splat's topic in Show Results
