Hiya, When we bought Oscar we guessed he was about 9 weeks old - he had big black eyes with no iris ring, a pink cere and a black stripe on his very orange beak which i thought was a sign of a very young bird. He also had head bars almost down to his cere although they were very light. Now about 7 weeks later his cere has turned blue and his wee black bit on his beak has disappeared. He still has his stripes as he hasn't moulted yet. However he has really bright iris rings and reading other posts this isn't supposed to happen until about 9 months?? What do you guys reckon??

Hi everyone, just thought i'd let you know that Oscar said his first words the other day!!! He says Good Boy, Come Here and Cheeky boy! He's getting really good at it now!! Just need to make sure he doesn't learn any bad words!! :devil:

Oscar does exactly the same thing! i don't think he eats it i think he just crumbles it. yuck!

hiya, i'm not sure either but i would guess female. She looks really young because she still has all her head bars - maybe about 8 weeks but that is just a guess. she is gorgeous!
