  1. thank you for the updated, he is so cute I just want to run out and get on myself , glad he is improving day by day.
  2. they are all beautiful birds , MB your birds going through a molt or did they ruffle their feathers they looked all poofed up. As to what to bred your spangle with as that in the breeding help you will get a better chance of an answer because here it may get passed over, I have always heard normals are the best to improve marking but not my area of expertise. Adding, glad to see that you entered one of the pics for Budgie of the Month, I was going to mention it they are all excellent pics .
  3. that is good news? How are you sure they are not? By the way, what did the vet say about the sick bird and how is it doing?
  4. I agree a male too excellent cere shot, not sure completely on the mutation looks like a possible recessive pied in which he would keep the pink cere and I would say around 1y possible? That pink it looks like it is in condition. But if not I would mark his age around the 4 month mark because of how pink the cere is.
  5. I agree too hen, the third picture you can really see the white blue cere if it was a male recessive pied like Pretty in my avator/signature his cere would have been very pink.
  6. what a cute picture she looks like she is really coming along well, sorry to hear about the

Interesting information TB, it makes sense that different cabinents would produced different results, in the wild they chose where they want to lay here they are given a place if you could give them 4 to chose from I wonder what would happen and figure out why they would chose it.
  11. he looks like he is having a blast Andrew, he is a gorgeous color.

Welcome to the forum , I agree with Kaz with the quarantine be strict about it becaue it is important to the well being of all your birds.
  13. LB is right, to me he looks mauve in the above pictures the picture you posted with the mum I can't tell.
  14. dark green = 1 dark factors so you need 1 birds with 1 dark factor so you could have the possibility of getting a dark green chick

  19. Tears well up as I read your update and request and that is not selfish on your part to ask for prayers....you have them here. You, Lucas, your family are so amazing, thank you for always thinking about BBC and updating us. He is a handsome boy and I love his picture.
  20. I hope the remaining bounce back, do you have pics of your lorries they are such beautiful birds.
  21. I didn't see anything about quarantine, before you start breeding them with any other birds I suggest that you follow the quarantine standard of 30 days (1 month) completely seperated from the flock before you decide to breed. This ensures that the new birds you purchased are in optimal health. You may know this already but putting it out there. Congrats on your purchases.
