Hommer those Grey Budgies are so cute, i love the colours and the little flecks around the cheeks

Look at the huge lock on the cage keeping him in :(Laughing out loud): It makes him look like he must be the evil of all evil budgies.. Still snuggle worthy though

I haven't got any closer photos of pigglet, but i will get some tomorrow and post for you. And umm you said s/he is a receesed parblue yellow pied.. does it matter if she is Yellow and Green? (Laughing out loud)

Umm in the 4th picture is the parents of snuggles and pigglet, they also have another chick from that clutch which is a yellow faced blue (Munchkin). The budgie in the middle is mum, the one on the left is the one she normally breeds with but the little pied one on the right got to her aswell so i'm not sure who belongs to who :bluebudgie: .. I have no idea on what the parents, parents are. I didn't get to see or find out as the birds were bought for me from a friend that felt sorry for me having an empty aviary in my garden for a few years :(Laughing out loud): I will post some pictures (maybe video) of Munchkin (from the same clutch) and Apple who is from the previous clutch.. :ausb: My daughters named then, Snuggles because he liked being held and Pigglet because she was the baby out of the clutch and was so little and pink, it was as if she just wasn't growing and would forever be a little pink blob :bluebudgie:

Thought id do an update on my aviary babies Snuggles and Pigglet Snuggles is the one behind and is a smoother looking image of Apple. Pigglet just doesn't suit her name anymore (i've taken to calling her a her just because she is so cute) Snuggles The two bubs with mum on the far end of the perch, with the maybe dad hanging on the side over looking things Poor mum in the middle of the two Maybe dads :fear Mum and the little maybe dad have become quite close (with the other one looking on) (Laughing out loud) So close infact that she has started a new clutch already Ill get some pictures of my little sausages Apple and Munchkin later to post.. yeah i thought that at first about the second male also but i was informed on these forums that the colour of his crea is infact that of a littel male, but what sold me on the idea he is a he was seeing him get his groove thang on with Apples mum But i wasnt sure if any of his eggs survived as the little green male smashed the first few that were layed :hap: And considering i know SQUAT about the hows and why's of budgie genes, your information is still helpful, thank you This is the only other photo i have of Apple and Munchys mum, when she was sitting on Munchy in his little egg

the only way i can get video is with my web cam so a little later i will set my cam up on the floor and see what i can come up with Im now not sure on who is exactly Munchkins father but its either ...... The darker green one on the right, the lighter one is Munchys and Apples mum, oh and he is Apples father also. Or this little guy In the clutch i have what appears to be a little yellow and green pied babie, do i need a pied father to get this or can that happen in any clutch? Lin, Apple seems to wrap everyone around his little feet, hes just so pint sized and scruffy with such a HUGE personality.. Im so lucky to have him :hap: I love him to pieces.. Oh and while i think of it, and sorry because im not asking in the right thread butttttttt.. What is Munchy is terms of colouring? his chest is bluey green, his bottom half is blue and the rest is yellow

:hap: I feel a little sad reading this topic and obviously everyone has their own reasons for doing what they do.. I'm just torn with Munchkin at the moment. I haven't and wont ever clip Apples wings as he just doesn't use them above head height anyway, but Munchkin is like a little helicopter and goes straight up and then across the room at near ceiling height.. its not that i mind him flying, I love that he does its just that living in the tropics under a tin roof with only ceiling fans to keep cool is a major problem I wish there was some way i could make the fans safe but its just not possible.. and its too darn hot without them. and i so don't want to clip him but i'm feeling its going to be my only option, other than keeping him shut up in his cage all day

thought id post some more pictures of Munchy and Apple, although Apple is a hard one these days to get still enough to get a non blurry photo of. I FINALLY HAVE A BUDGIE WITH SMOOTH FEATHERSSSSSSSSS Munchy and Apple sharing a little seed together Munchy and Apple sharing a little more seed together :hap: its funny though because the whole time Apple is talking to Munchy saying "Hey Cutie -Whatcha Doin" Munch having a little stretch playing under the sofa together exploring, Munchy is already a little bigger than Apple. Apple is such a little scruff Munch having a little snuggle They are getting along GREAT together, I was a little worried at first but they are just too cute together.. Munchy is so more advanced than Apple was at this stage, he is mostly eating his bird seed and loving it, he is also flying (Laughing out loud) Apple still hardly fly's about.. Munchys siblings out in the nesting box are coming along really great also (they are also nice and smooth ) It makes me realize that i'm lucky i have Apple, i think i must have just got him in time out of the nest Hes my scruffy little man, and still so little Cheers :beer: Una

Bea thay are great pictures, its a nice reward at the end to see the birds actually enjoying the stuffs you make for them isnt it. I love the picture of Razzo attacking the paper towel roll . How old is she Bea?
