Looks good to me, run off and get it will you, and fill it up with lots and lots of budgies!!

Daz, details please! I love it! Size, price, store or manufacturer please!

is it me or do most aviarys here dont seem to have safety doors or am i just missing something :)

Hath I know where I live it's so expensive for that second door, and most that you see only have one door.

their is one like that on ebay i think it was in sydney oth looks great too :)

shell

I've seen that advertised before. It's a nice one, I would try to work in a double door, even if you have to build it yourself as an attachment to it.

But that is me who would freak about my birds getting out.

Brand = Spanbilt <- link to site. :D

About $670 au Kit Form from Bunnings.

They have some great ideas in Aviaries. :fear

No Hath 99% of the aviaries I have found don't seem to have the safety doors. I'll be adding one for this.

A lot of people get those streamer things that hang in takeaway shops and hang them over their aviary door as an extra layer. Also a sheet of material or plastic can come in handy. :fear

:D I in fact pick up the calalog every time I go to bunnings (which is maybe twice a a year :fear) I was interesting in the bottom one this time for $500. But no where to put it :D Then there is the fact that a 30 merter roll of mesh os only $100.

oh old topic :P

Sorry I never got back to answer this, it was the small square bird wire, from in think 1/4 size to 1/2 If I remember correctly now. It's at bunnings that I saw it, just head down to the wire area (for me that is outside at the back of the plants) and they are all together there.

I have an urging of late to get my outside avary built, i think becuase i have talked bout it for i think almost a year or so now and I'm just itching to get some more birdies. :D Which means I need the room. That's how I found this again, been looking for topics on building them, what is best on the ground the easest to clean and keep clean. all of that jazz.

I wish I could convert the shed i have out the back it's in the perfect spot and all :) but i can't so i have to settle for building next to it.)

Well I have 3 weeks holidays coming up in the new year and a conversion is on my list. :D I'll take some photos as I go. :)

very cool. Are you planing of adding the small one you have to the bigger one or keep it separate as maybe a baby/sale pen?

I am thinking of changing the shed that the main aviary on into another aviary. Expanding so to say.

I'll install another shed around the side of the house and make this one in to a bird house.

I knew what you were planing what I meant, were yout hinking of cutting out the back of the hanging cage you already have on the shed to add it into the disign?

Yes and the empty side between the shed and the fence...um I was think of something there.

There is plenty of room for another addition. :P

Well I am getting closer. The new Shed is due this wednesday. The concrete slab for the new shed will go in next week (i hope). Then when that is finished I can move all my gear (Lawnmowers and such) to the new Shed and start renovating the old shed into the new aviary.
