Well as alot of you know i have bunnies who live with my birds in the aviary (well one currently as they have to be kept seperate)

Some have worried and doubted about the chances of things going wrong as is very understandable, but i thought I'd just share these two cute videos of the relationships my birds have with one of my rabbits, Pancakes :D

They may not treat him like a friend (more a taxi) but you can see there is no problems between either of them and they tolerate each other quite fine, plus it's really cute :)

hehe... it's like the little birdies that sit on the hippo's in Africa! Do they preen the bunnies as well?

Funnily enough they do LOL!

And older birds like to sleep with them aswell as the quails LOL!

:) How cute!! Looks like the budgies are having a rabbit rodeo, trying to see who can stay on the longest :D

The white one at the end of the first rode the full 8 seconds!!

I have two grown blokes here cracking up cheering them on!!

Hahaha "PANCAKES the fiercest rabbit around" :budgiedance:

Yer silly budgies don't understand why that ''ROCK'' keeps moving & running away. Do yer budgies know ''ROCKS'' don't have fur & ears & poop out chocolate balls of cocoa puffs ?

Great Clips Libby. I lol'd.

Its the same 2 trouble makers :D  they're bad bad birds!!!! LOL

both fairly young birds around 6 months old, but still mighty aodrable :budgiedance: None of the older birds harass anything on the ground, seems to be only the young ones

I missed a great photo opportunity the other day :) a weero was sitting on a perch and a young budgie decided to hang off his tail underneath him making the weero speard his wings out wide and look down with a "WHAT THE" look, would've made a lovely picture :(

So cool :) I guess your bunny have never been over weight with all this exercise ;)

Haha nopes, not yet, luckily :(

although i'd LOVE a fat rabbit, it would be a lovely change from energetic lean ones LOL

  • 1 year later...

That's classic! My 3y.o daughter watched the clip and said "Dad, it's a Budgie Rabbit"
