Thank you Nick, I didn't think of that, because I didn't think they had them in France, but it makes a lot of sense. Honestly, I stink when it come to mutation identification. The budgie is a French clearbody then, not mine, it belongs to somebody from my forum in french. Thank's again.

I'm not so sure about it being a Texas clearbody, because they have red eyes, and these photos have black eyes. What about Easly clearbody? I'm not sure what color eyes those have.

I did no see this red eye things in different places I read.

Let's say that she would be paired with a blue male split to ino, could they produce clearbody babies of either sexes since CB dominates over ino?

I don't even know for sure if what I'm saying makes sense.

Looks something like a grey wing or a dilute of some kind, its body color is diluted somewhat and the checks on its wings don't appear solid black but more grey. I don't think it is a Texas Clearbody. and Texas Clearbodies have black eyes not red. Some larger photos would help better.

I'd say its a texas clearbody. Texas clearbody have black eyes, fallows look similar but with red eyes. The Easley clearbody have black flights. If it was a grey wing the body colour would be stronger on the chest and under the mask, not washed out like this one. Texas clearbody's have grey flights like this one does.

Please, I think I could handle a dilute or greywing of some kind, I have some at home. I confirm that they do not have red eyes and I am not the one who offered this information either..

 

Okay Rachel , you are right about the wing which are supposed to be darker in the Easly, But to be Texas, she is supposed to have grey blue legs an she has pink legs? Does this leg color think really mean anything? I read it in a couple of different places.

 

Easley's have pink legs with 3 or 4 different ideas about the color the cheek patches should be, from pale bluish to greyish blue to lavender to smokey grey, It depends where you look.

 

I guess the only way to really know is to breed her.

Yeah maybe a clearbody, just had a look at one of my blue clearbodies and her wing checks appear slightly more greyed out than black, looks similar to this one, definately would help id it with some larger photos.

If you breed her to a normal cock you will only get split cocks and that isn't going to tell you anything untill you breed them the following year but if you breed her to an ino you will get all hens ino and all cocks TCB.

Sorry that I threw in the wrong information about red eyes in TCBs. I guess I thought I had read that somewhere.
