Finally, A Flying Picture

Well budgiebird, like you, I have a really expensive digital slr camera, and I've had no luck getting a flying picture. Well today I was videotaping the birds trying to get something to upload to putfile. I flipped it over to camera mode with the crappy 2.3 mpixel camera that is built in and look what I got....

:) I am sorry Shawna but that is so funny! :(Laughing out loud): By the looks on the other birds faces it looks like he is flashing them or something, good shot!

.......and the secret is ? Buy a cheaper camera and hope for the best :) Brilliant shot !!

Hi from Hervey Bay.

I joined this list about a week ago and have spent most of my time reading all the good info.

I agree that is a great photo. You will find most digital still camera's today have a movie mode. If you take a movie of the birds flying you should be able to capture one frame as a still photo. My camera does this fine.

Now some will be out of focus as they fly fast but keep trying & you will get some pleasing results.
