I have just found this breeder near me and i had to see what he had and i walked away with another with first pick of his new babies ready in 3 weeks

anyway here he is?

 

i think hes a violet opaline male

could you confirm or tell me different

his colour does not really show up on these piccys i will try and get better tomorrow

Opaline for sure. How old is this bird? The cerre looks like a young hen or one out of contindition. THe colour is looking to me in the pictures as blue, maybe a cobalt.

he/she is only 10 weeks old and the birds the breeder had were all in good condition, i will try and get a true picture of his/her colour tomorrow the camera isnt giving it justice

I was going to say cobolt hen as well. Very pretty. I have a cobolt opaline but she is darker blue than yours.

Id say cobalt aswell...

 

And a female.... Are you sure 10 weeks? All my 10 weekers have all looked half as young as she does... :offtopic:

im sure about the 10 weeks

he didnt want to let her go as he normal waits until 12 weeks but my little lad convinced him with his little smile

also she is soooo hand tame as she was hand reared. she didnt want to go into the cage and kept flying to my hand and hiding in my palm

 

sooo cute and called ocean(named by my youngest lad)

the breeder had were all in good condition

I'd say Sky Blue Opaline hen.. Looks like an opaline hen.. Good shoulders.

Gorgeous, take a picture without the flash in the sunlight that will do it justice. Merlin is a violet and in my siggy that is not his right coloring, I posted pictures in the mutations without a flash and you can see the violet coloring. Flash makes him look cobalt too.
