April 28, 200619 yr This post makes me sad :hap: I'm happy that you are rescuing them, but sad that they were able to get in that condition. How can people do it? I just don't understand.

The link is very upsetting.
April 28, 200619 yr OMG!!!!!! :hap: :hap: :( :( Im crying right now! :'( That poor pup, cuddling with his dead mom I dont even want to know whats in that bag! Please dont say dead puppies or chopped up dogs! Where was this? Who did it, why? and When? Kirby
April 28, 200619 yr Most definately put a warning on that link that was so awful and hard to see!! Oh man!!!!!!
April 28, 200619 yr people who killed these dogs live in turkey and nobody knows who did it and why. we are trying to find who is responsible for this.
April 28, 200619 yr I sadly can not look, I looked at the last one a couple week ago which was very distrubing. Sadly it doesn't just happen in Turkey it happens in the US and all over the world, people refuse to open their eyes and believe that others can be so cruel (beyond cruel really) Petshop & people like this MUST be reported. You are fortune you could rescue them, have you reported this petshop to the ASCPA or whatever they have there in Turkey? This is the first step to STOP the abuse, because in the end we can't rescue them all. Hats off to you...thank you.
April 28, 200619 yr That is horrific! :hap: I hope whoever did that is found and treated just as humanely. :hap:
April 28, 200619 yr You will not believe me but reporting petshop like these has no meaning in here, nobody will do nothing, sorry for this terrible topic.
April 28, 200619 yr You will not believe me but reporting petshop like these has no meaning in here, nobody will do nothing, sorry for this terrible topic. Well, at least these little birds have got you. :feedbirds: It's such a shame about the dogs. How did that come about? Were they just dumped there? I wished I could read turkish so I could understand all the writing after the pictures.
April 28, 200619 yr You will not believe me but reporting petshop like these has no meaning in here, nobody will do nothing, sorry for this terrible topic. terrible as it may be it is fact and people need to be aware, I am surprised no one will take action.
April 28, 200619 yr Can't watch (started to cry which is not a good thing as it is washing out the drops in my eyes for an eye infection). Hopefully people in your country will begin to be more aware (it does happen in all countries unfortunately but slowly ever slowly, laws are getting better in my country), you are doing a wonderful job and that is a start, bless you. :budgiedance:
April 28, 200619 yr I can honestly say I have never seen anything so horrific happen to animals. I couldn't believe it when I clicked on the link. I've been quite upset all afternoon. I think there should be absolute public outrage, and that if the bast**** that did it are found they should be imprisoned for life (or worse).
April 29, 200619 yr Even though you are seeing this as common in your country it has not made you immune to feeling thier suffering. You are trying to do good things in spite of what you have seen around you. Many others would see this as normal.....pets being a throw away commodity. Congratulations on your efforts. :angel1:
April 29, 200619 yr You will not believe me but reporting petshop like these has no meaning in here, nobody will do nothing, sorry for this terrible topic. l'm so glad that those little wee ones found there way into your loving care. :feedbirds: Edited April 29, 200619 yr by birdluv
April 29, 200619 yr i had to go and hug my puppies for a good 10 minutes even though they really would rather me not hold them as tight, so many of those dogs looked like mine, good for you for getting those budgies, i took a poor budgie from a petstore a while back, he's had scallyface so bad his beak will never be normal, bacterial infections and a scared liver because of a horrible diet for years, but he sure is one of the best budgies a person could ask for, they know you saved them and they won't let you forget, its the best thank you anyone could give, because they really mean it, good job!
May 12, 200619 yr :angel1: it makes me happy sharing these pictures now "minis" is a lady :ausb: ,also can fly BEFORE AFTER

May 12, 200619 yr some people in this world are just so totally heartless!!! why the heck do people get a kick out of being so cruel to something that cant voice their pain??? it makes me sick! Its wonderful you are finding these sweet little birds and fixing them up! cheers !
May 12, 200619 yr Yes it really is sad. And the picture of the little dog try to cuddle in to his dead mother is really sad. Thos pet stores should really take care of the budgies and not just think about money. By the way, GREAT JOB! Edited May 12, 200619 yr by Mavi_Kus
