I'm on the look out for a new cage for my two budgies and I reckon you people could be in the know!

I basically want a bigger cage than that one but without a stand. Their cage currently stands on a unit whose top is 84cm/33in by 45cm/18in so I'd like one no bigger than that (as the new cage would have to sit on top of it). The Irene 4's width and depth is 52cm/20.5in by 37cm/14.5cm

 

Its a bit vague and I'm not expecting many replies but any suggestions are welcome :hap: I could always persuade the parents to move the furniture about to fit in a new cage if something one of you suggests is suitable!

Have you tried ebay? You never know, you might be lucky. Pets at home usually have quite a good selection of cages to look at, or at least they do in their Norwich shops.

Yeah thanks, just been looking on ebay for the past hour and will be keeping an eye on it :hap:

 

I've seen them in Pets At Home too just won't be able to get there until next week and I don't like buying from pet shops who sell animals (buying from them funds their pet trade and rodent farms etc)

I just purchased my cage off of e-bay it is estimated to arrive on Monday :hap:, I am so excited. So keep your eye out mine was 109.00 US dollars and it was off hand thinking 36"x20x62 I think, I can get a picture if you want.

Yeah if you have a picture I'll have a look! I like looking at bird cage setups anyway to get ideas for my two!

On the PDF file on that page theres a picture of the cage with budgies in and it looks massive It'll be a good size for my two budgies I think!

 

Also hopefully if I get it my nana will agree to have my old cage for her budgie, her budgie's cage is too small really so if all goes well there could be three happy budgies flying about in nice big cages!
