April 27, 200619 yr He's gorgeous. I really like that your daughter is getting involved too. They sure look cute together. It's great when parents "teach" kids about pet ownership.. rather than just getting birds for their kids and taking no interest themselves.. Good work!
April 27, 200619 yr Author thanks Hurdy, they are both involved. I have them do what they are capable, it is when the parent expects the child to do everything is when it goes array. The parent is always responsible for the pet if they bring it in their home, not the child because they can't even be responsible for themselves (Laughing out loud).
April 28, 200619 yr Author I took him for a ride - it is about 20 mins - to my mom's yesterday since I spend the day there on Thursday's helping out since my dad passed away. He loved it, he sat on top of his travel cage it is about 9" and looked around and was contented to preen, fluff and nap. When we got home he was a very tired baby and went to sleep for the night . He loves to look at himself in the mirror bathroom, can't stop pacing by windows, and he hears Pretty and goes nuts (Laughing out loud). He is a sweet baby that is what I call him and he closes his eyes and listens.
