Cheers  Una I buy mine from a stock produce store like city farmers, but you can also source them from woodturning classes and hobbiests. Just check on the kind of wood they are using but mostly it wouldn't be treated wood. Or I can get you some and post it...should cost much. Edited April 25, 200619 yr by budgiebird
April 25, 200619 yr Author This is another reason i hate living so remote I have no pet produce stores and nobody does woodturning (Laughing out loud).. I'm use to doing nearly all of my ordering online or over the telephone and the closest pet barn and stores i have near me... well the Pet Barn needs a swift kick up the backside (i don't like how they go about and keep their animals) and the pet stores are way way over priced oh and they are still over 900ks away anyway.. So i was thinking if anyone knew of a good site which sold them id be more than happy to purchase Oz wide..

April 25, 200619 yr Author In the next few days ill do a bit of a phone around and see if i cant source out a good supplier.. If i cant i will most definitely pm you my address.. At the moment i'm using shredded paper towels, its better than nothing.. I have three chicks in the nest although 6 actually hatched The oldest one is a SUPER BUDGIE and seems to be so much bigger than any others i've had before.. In his moving about he has managed to squash the 3 youngest ones But with big budgies comes BIG POOPS .... I've never added anything to the nesting boxes till now and think it could be a wise investment getting some shavings (nothing worse than a wet nesting box with fat poop covered babies in it )
