Do you know what i just thought of..thats weird to me!!!

 

How you got a normal baby from Freckle and Pie? (marine) Is it just me, or would have have not gotten spangles, and/or dominant pieds!!! Ringo is acounted for becuase of Pie, but where did the normal yellow face gene come up to make Marine a normal, neither spangle, nor dominant pied ?! !? !? !?

 

ps-in 5-10 years when i move to Brisbane Nerwen..if all goes well, would you have babies to sell to me...some like Reep and Echo? (Laughing out loud) And is there any good breeder around you that sells nice spangles, pieds, and normals?!?!?!

I hope to have in many years to come babies for sale. Right now I can't see myself getting out of budgies. Marine is explained becuase Pie is only a SF pied. So Marine got his normal gene and Freckle is a SF spangle and he got her Normal gene too. The yellowface is from Freckle she is a goldenface herself.

I thought dominant pieds are double factored...hence why they are called dominant pieds.... As in they babies are dominantly pied....

 

Also...is there any good breeders near you that have spangles, or nice dominant pieds?....

I don't know any other breeder near me other than Daz. Oh and Karen SO I can't asnwer that one. I have to find a few soon as i'm looking to find a match to Ringo.

 

Dominant are sf or df. They are called dominant becuase that is how the gene acts. If they get the gene it shows. Recessive need to always be df becuase they need two genes to show up.
