Posted April 24, 200619 yr YAY I finally got there I think the grin on my face will not fade for a million years. It was great standing there and watching the birds fly out of the small cage I moved them with into the big open space. At first the crashed into the wire with shock. Silly Ringo cashed into the wall at one point which had be paniced but it wasn't hard. She did worse the first time she got away from me as a baby and crashed into the window making her cere bleed a bit. The babies where the last to come out of the cage but did better at settling down then the grown ups Reepicheep need a finger help to test out this new home, then she was having a ball in momment ripping at the bark. The photo are through the wire becuase I forgot to take it in with me and didn't want to stress them much this first day. And can anyone guess the mother of this little lass? : This is little Connie the sister of Marine and Ringo. I'm looking after her again for her mama. I just realised I havn't any piccies of Scuttle who is all alone in the cage he shared with his brothers and sisters. Waiting to go to his own new home Edited April 24, 200619 yr by Nerwen

April 24, 200619 yr Wonderful to see, isn't it ?? They all seem to have a crash or two when working out new spaces but it doesn't last long. It's so much joy to watch them fly all around in a new and bigger space. ENJOY !! also have a white recessive pied for you to choose from........a gift ....see Juliets babies

April 24, 200619 yr Author :(Laughing out loud): I had just left the cage again talking about what I need to match with who I wan to get five more for now. A male for Ringo, a male baby to grow and match with Reep and a hen baby to match with either Echo or Squeaker (which I think is now staying as that ) And then two unrelated one to pair up with each other so I get another family group. April 24, 200619 yr 7th picture down just melts me Great Job Newen it looks cool.. I bet they are lovin the open space too
April 24, 200619 yr Author Riebie Boddy would be perfect thank you for offering him I'll be there soon to pick him up They are having a BALL None have even bothered with the 'fake' toys I have set up instead just ripping and chewing at the bark and leaves. Freckle still loves me, she was playing with my hair while I was in there and gave me some kisses on the cheek Then I was shocked to see Ringo hope over and nibble at my hair!! I was epecting Marine might do so since he has done it before. Ringo has always been a don't bug me girl. Maybe it's her thanks for the new play room. Edited April 24, 200619 yr by Nerwen
April 24, 200619 yr Riebie Bobby would be perfect thank you for offering him I'll be there soon to pick him up Oh NO NO NO - As lovely as your avairy is, Bobby could never be an avairy bird, no I'm afraid I will just have to take Reepi and give her a lovely new home in the BIG cage I will be getting!!! April 24, 200619 yr :D Karen your just trying to kill me I wouldn't have a clue how to get one back to here or what it would intail!! Not to mention the cost of it. Budgie to you is free. You should be able to take it back cheaper if you travel with it. Look into it.
April 24, 200619 yr Shall I mention how I believe freight for birds is about $45???? Or is that too cruel????
April 24, 200619 yr Author That's very cruel lin (Laughing out loud) I will look into that way at least I know the answer to the all questions, might come in handy later.
April 24, 200619 yr Nerwen Remember I have a Dark Green Pied and a Colbalt Pied that will be looking for a home. Thats Poka and Biff..... Also I am geting into the Breeding Cage manufacturing Job. Cages made on request... I am doing one tomorrow for myself... but will take orders for pick up..
April 24, 200619 yr Author Gee you get a bit of space and birds are thrown your way I Poka with her cute little dots.
April 24, 200619 yr Well he's yours if you want him... Remember he is Split to Cinnamon. He and Biff are going into the nursary tomorrow for two weeks. So if you do want him i'll keep him for you. Poka on left, Biff on right. Edited April 24, 200619 yr by daz
April 24, 200619 yr Author Ohh I thought Poka and Biff where both girls!!! I would so rather have some of your birdies than ones one either pet shop or other breeders that I have to hunt down and approve of before buying.
April 24, 200619 yr Shall I mention how I believe freight for birds is about $45???? Or is that too cruel???? There is usually a big difference between freighting a bird and travelling with one. Look into it anyway. Edited April 24, 200619 yr by budgiebird
April 24, 200619 yr Author I think the rest of my family will call the funny farm If I return from the other side of the country with a bird. I can just see their faces now (Laughing out loud)
