April 24, 200619 yr No idea, wait for the experts but I do know that they allow them tuna from time to time.
April 24, 200619 yr If he will eat it! I have been told that they can eat chicken, so I guess turkey wouldn't be much different (I don't eat turkey, so I don't know how much it is like chicken or not! )
April 24, 200619 yr They can eat Chicken? Hmm Apple always wants to get his little beak into mine if ever ive got it but i always keep him away thinking it was just weird a bird eating bird... and MY bird eating bird
April 24, 200619 yr Yep, a little bit of white meat is fine. If you think about their natural diet, they get protein from insects they eat that are on their food. So, the odd piece of white meat, unless you want to catch some ants for them
April 24, 200619 yr We had a white shortbilled corella growing up ( it is still around at age 56 ) and she used to get the chicken drumstick bone to chew on every Sunday after a roast dinner for the family. She loved it !! So much that she used to dance around and up and down and sing out "dance you bugger !" just to get it.
April 24, 200619 yr i Emailed athe editor of birds online today and asked the question of how much white meat and meal worms, budgies should be allowed to eat and she replied Only in very small amounts because too much protein cause damage to the kidneys i hope this helps jason
