Out of the budgies I've kept over the years, there's one that really stands out when it came to us bonding together. Her name was Snowy, I remember she was so nervous when we first brought her home, after a week or so of trying to put my hand in her cage and trying to get her to step up onto my finger, without success, I decided to leave the cage door open and see what happened.

 

I was lying on my bed watching tv, snowy was out of her cage sat high up on a picture frame on the wall when all of a sudden she flew & landed on my bed next to me lets just say I was a little shocked (Laughing out loud). Next thing I know she's flown on me & is just sitting there.

 

From that day on the bond between snowy & I just got stronger & stronger. I've never had a budgie bond with me in that way, it's almost like she initiated the bonding by flying to me.
