Posted April 17, 200619 yr Well I just couldn't help myself, I couldn't let Blinks have all the fun with Mickey so you have too realize that budgies will rule the world - and CATS too, as Pretty will demonstrate in the picture below. sidenote: sorry the picture is not the best of quality my 5yr took it with my camera phone, as I was holding the cat feet securely so he couldn't HUG Pretty : After the picture was taken, of course Maxx was promptly secured in my bedroom he is never out with Pretty roaming, for all those (Daz) who fear for Maxx's safety :hap: Please don't take a picture of this MOM say Maxx - Pretty says let me wash behind your ears :hap: Edited April 17, 200619 yr by lovey
April 17, 200619 yr Methinks Maxx is thinking up ways to get even ................check out the look on his face !!
April 17, 200619 yr Author he hasn't come to see Pretty since, I think Pretty is quite upset about it. You can see him pin him when he walks past his cage, and Pretty runs to the side of the cage to get a better view and gets excited. Pretty's cage is on a stand with NO ledge, so for him to see the cats I have to place his cage on the floor.
April 17, 200619 yr That's a really cute picture. Just be extra careful not to let Pretty have any contact with the cat's saliva (but you seem to always be on top of that sort of thing so I guess I'm really just saying that for the benefit of others). They're so cute. I miss having a cat!
April 17, 200619 yr Author NO WAY :hap: the kids (ummm me ) could never give them up but if you are looking for big personality, loving, doglike that would be Maxx (if you were looking to steal one), or course you could go with b*** Mahria (she is 14) or then there is Molli Maxxi's sister - sweet everything is on her own terms (typical female :hap:) As for Pretty he will take any of them, he doesn't care , he was scanning from his cage just a couple minutes ago as they walked by. Nutty Bird!
April 17, 200619 yr Cute picture Lovey. I wouldn't dare let my cat near the birds. She was a stray - we found her 5 years ago eating dropped apples from our apple trees - and she is quite a hunter. We tried to make her an indoor cat but she wants no part of it in the summer - just sits at the door and cries. She is very pretty. I'll have to put a picture of her in off-topic some time. Anyway, I think the budgie and dog/cat pics are just precious.
April 17, 200619 yr Cute, I guess it's just one of those rare occurences like when cats and mice get along and hang out together.
