Posted April 11, 200619 yr Whaaat?! 1........2.......do my eyes decieve me?? Waaahaaahhah....why??? WHY??!! The Terrible Two hanging out on dad's shoulder. Enjoying some brocolli in the sun. Whooo! Go Blinkie! Ozzie wants more. Aww, isn't that sweet! Time for my close-up! And mine too!!
April 11, 200619 yr Author That's probably true! :(Laughing out loud): Don't worry, he's getting loads of extra cuddles and tidbits.
April 11, 200619 yr I just love those two! And give Mickey a special hug, pet and kiss from me, he is such a good and tolerant doggie.
April 11, 200619 yr that is fanastic, yes hugs to Mickey too, I can't imagine what it is like to see doubles : Blinks is going to tame Oz right down for you guys even more, and each him the ropes. Lucky lucky!
April 11, 200619 yr Great photos and beautiful birds... bless Mickey.. he is a brave chap according to our dog Sweep..... who runs for cover when our Buddie is out.. (Laughing out loud)
April 11, 200619 yr Author (Laughing out loud)! Sweep should consider himself lucky that he only has one monster budgie out to get him! :(Laughing out loud):
April 11, 200619 yr Author I know. I love that Blinkie's still SUPER tame, that was my biggest fear about the whole getting a friend idea, that i'd lose my super tame baby. Right now Ozzie's getting ignored (and is crying about it) while Blinkie is busy flirting with my big toe!
April 11, 200619 yr SEE GUYS!!!..... BLINKIE DOES NOT HAVE THE SPANGLE PATCH ON HIS NECK!!!....(Laughing out loud)...Bea, some poeple didnt think mine was a spangle becuase she doesnt have the spot..i just had to tell them even the most famous one doesnt either!...(Laughing out loud) They are sooooo cute together Bea!!! GRRR!!!... (Laughing out loud) Kirby
April 12, 200619 yr (Laughing out loud) Bea.. I meant on the back of their necks!....Like the spot Oz has...and most spangles do since its a dominant gene...isnt it?...(Laughing out loud). My hen doesnt have one....and i dont know about my new spangle male since the back of his head was plucked..but it growing in now..so i hope he has one since they are adorable markings And Bea, im such a fan of your birds...im thinking of calling my violet spangle male Blinkie...or Junoir!...(Laughing out loud) Kirby
April 12, 200619 yr Author The spot on the back of Ozzie's head is a pied spot and has nothing to do with being spangle. Spangles don't have this spot.
April 12, 200619 yr (Laughing out loud)! Sweep should consider himself lucky that he only has one monster budgie out to get him! laugh.gif Sweep got braver yesterday, laid in front of the cage...... but only cos it had brocilli and cucumber on top (Laughing out loud) Will have to sit here with the camera later when I let Buddie out to see if he will do it again. I told him he was lucky .. he only thought that when Buddie went back in and he got the left over veggies
April 12, 200619 yr Author well in fact alot of them do. Really? A pied spot?? I've never seen a spangle with a spot.
April 12, 200619 yr (Laughing out loud) Bea... I KNEW THEY HAD THAT SPOT!!! As in MOST do...since its a dominant gene.... Although i know what you mean..several do NOT...dont ask me why...(Laughing out loud). So yes Bea, since im in mad with your birds...is it okay if i call my violet spangle male Blinky?.... Ill use a 'y' instead of 'ie'.....(Laughing out loud) Kirby
April 12, 200619 yr Author So yes Bea, since im in mad with your birds...is it okay if i call my violet spangle male Blinky?.... Ill use a 'y' instead of 'ie'.....(Laughing out loud) Kirby Well it's not like i can stop you but i would rather you didn't. Blinkie likes being the only Blink on the forum, i feel so mean saying this. :hap:
April 12, 200619 yr Look at you Bea, you are so sweet!! Kirby with your great imagination I am sure you will have no trouble at all coming up with an original name for your violet spangle!!!
