Well I thought the little babies smelled a little too much like pet shop so I decided to give them a bath. They were actually pretty good. Wet budgies are so cute!

 

Jewel got to go in first.

Then Romeo.

 

They got lots of snuggles under my sweater after to get toasty warm!!

I think Jewel liked it a little more than Romeo. Both have clipped wings so they couldn't really get too far, but Romeo made a few attempts to fly out. I just put a bit of water in the bottom of the kitchen sink. Jewel just walked around in it. I've but pans of water in the big cage and even put lettuce in, but none of the other budgies have bothered yet. I'm sure that if one takes to it they all will. That is how it seems to be with everything else.

My little Apple use to hate water so i started him in water that was just deep enough to wet his toes in a small dish lid.. as he got more confident in it I increased the amount of water and changed the container lid into the actual container he seemed to not notice the difference and now i cant keep him out of water :(Laughing out loud):

Good idea!!! I'll try that with the others!

Wet budgies always look so "why did you do that to me"! I love the first picture. My Cuddles always used a glass ashtray (very shallow). Even when she liked the water she would go in nothing else but the ashtray and do somersaults and rolls to get all wet so we just stuck with that. She hated the sink, i think it was too high of walls and she felt very low. I'm sure they will love it soon enough!!
