im getting budgies for the first time waht do i need my dads building an avairy but im keeping these ones inside can you mix them with tiels cause we have got some hand reared ones im not putting them in the same cage just cause our teils are out most of the day and once ive tamed the budgies maybe i could put them out toether.

 

it would really help if i had a list of what i need, tips and if possible a cage size that i sould have to house two budgies. thankyou so much and can you please read my signature it is really sad so basically i need tips on getting new budgies and tips on what i should do for the problem in my signature. thanks

Edith, how many budgies are you planning on getting. That will determine your cage size. Bigger is always better. Check out the cages and aviaries section for lots of info on cages. I would say for starters you need food and water dishes, toys, a variety of perches, cuttlebone, mineral iodine block, high quality seed or pellets, veggies and fruit.

Don't house them with the tiels, and always, always supervise. Believe it or not, the budgies will be very nasty to the tiels. According to my budgies, tiels have the tastiest tail feathers out My budgies will even attack my ringneck, so always supervise
