April 9, 200619 yr Thanks everyone!!! Well, I have put Kiwi, yes I know it changed again, in my bedroom with me and only me. He has actually stopped. I think that he is just a very anxious, and easily stressed out birds. Over the last few days he has been doing great. I have supervised him with the other birds and he starts the breathing when they get in "his" space like he is nervous of them being near him. When he is out by him self he is doing great!! He still gets to be with the other but only for a supervised amount of time. Once his breathing starts to act up its time to go back to his cage so he can relax. I thought you would want an update.
April 9, 200619 yr Great for you for taking such good care of him Misty!...maybe the humidity is a bit high, and when anxious he cant handle it?. Kirby
April 9, 200619 yr that is great, in fact may you would want to take one of the other more laid back birds and introduce them to him in your bedroom, have him with another one for a couple days see how he acts. And then reintro to the whole flock.
